Free VMB Poker Tournament - Saturdays - 8:30pm EDT

Since we had a good time with the first one – I decided to schedule a 2nd one.

The 2nd VMB Poker Stars free tourney will happen Saturday - May 23rd at 8:30pm EST – New York Time). You will need register on a laptop (It will NOT work on a mobile device).

This will be a free tourney. You will need to "buy in" with 20,000 of play chips which you can get for free (this is the lowest amount that the game will allow for the "buy in").

A few changes in this game:

1) We will have 10 minute blinds vs 20 minute blinds - Same amount of starting chips (5,000)

2) There will be a break. I believe it’s a 5 minute break every 55 minutes.

3) There will be a “payout” to the top 15%. But, the 1st place winner will get a delicious 6 pack of St. Pauli Girl beer, no, seriously, shipped to your home!

Here are the steps to get into the game after you have downloaded the app:

1. Open the main poker lobby

2. Click on home games tab in lower right corner

3. Click join a poker club button

4. Enter club ID - 3605838
5. Enter invitation code – wemissvegas

I was able to sign up for the tournament. It looks like fun. I have always enjoyed playing poker.

 

I used to play, but my damned state (Washington) prohibits it, even for play money.

 

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one. (I'll be eating in a restaurant for the first time in two and a half months!). But keep me in the loop for future tourneys. Last week was a lot of fun*!


*Obviously, "fun" has a slightly different meaning in the age of the covid.
