Wow. Just wow!! What next? No restaurant/bar add on entertainment assessment?
New bean counters or few beans to count maybe a cause.

Do you have a link to it?
Wondering if this is a temporary promotion or if they are changing it more permanently

There is nothing going on at T-Mobile, which was ostensibly the reason they went to paid parking in the first place.

This will be permanent IMHO. Permanent in Vegas is till they realize they can fleece people. Once we get back to we’re we were in 2019, parking will slowly return. These are just my opinions. I hope CET follows, since the follow everything else MGM does.

You’re probably right but how difficult was it to have the room key give access like at the pool? A convenient excuse but not much reason.

Surprised they are getting rid of it.... lol I actually thought they are going to find more fees to “enhance customer experience” wether up the parking fees or resorts fees lol (I know they are hurting really bad lost so much revenue)

One article I read about the change said that they are focused on drive in visitors from California and removing the parking fees is a way to entice them to come back for short visits.

Parking fees has been a big complaint from the So Cal market.

That makes perfect sense, I hadn’t really thought of that.

Saw this, and when people asked about resort fees MGM didn't comment, which is probably better than an affirmative "no". Who knows what will happen, but this is definitely a good start/step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. Curious if CET follows suit now.

I really don't think they had a choice but to do this. Anything they can do to increase the likelihood of SoCal visitors is going to be magnified right now.
