I gained 12 to 15 pounds. I dont normally keep a lot of food at home, nor do I eat breakfast or lunch very often. Now I'm stuck at home all day with the most massive stockpile of food I've probably ever had, so yah. But I'm starting the most aggressive and effective diet I know of in about 9 days; jaw surgery.

Yes. after a 40 pound weight loss 5 years ago, I had done a pretty good job of keeping if off, or at least not gaining much back. My trips to Vegas always motivated me to get back down to where I was. I was just going to be headed into that mode for my Memorial Day trip when this happened. So instead of losing the 10 pounds I had gained, I gained even more. I'm definitely a stress/comfort eater. You know, there are worse things. I could have started smoking again, but i didn't.

Can't wait until they open my apartment's fitness center back up. I'm there pretty early in the mornings, so most of the time, I'm the only one in there.

I am probably eating a bit more but when it’s salad, fruits and vegetables and lean chicken it’s still a bit bizarre. I don’t eat unhealthy food, and I was a personal trainer for 8 years so I’m not a complete idiot when it comes to exercising and nutrition.

I do think some of this has to be caused by stress because while I’m eating slightly more, I’m still exercising 5-6 days a week. Who knows, but it sucks either way lol

If you were a personal trainer for 8 yrs then you clearly know what you're doing and your also exercising a decent amount which is great. Ya completely understand that it stinks but you're not the only one, many others are also experiencing the same. I have good and bad days and wks. A few wks ago i was doing pretty good this past wk and wknd forget it. Hormones, motivation are very much it for me. Just looking forward to end of June when i hope the gyms will reopen in my city.

Yeah, I'm resigned to the it is what it is mantra at this point. I suppose there's bigger fish to fry than being salty about being fat, but it still sucks lol

Holding my own right now but I have worn a path to the refrigerator. The restaurants being closed helped a lot as I am lazy and it's easier to eat out. Since they reopened a week or so ago I have been out to eat six times (I only eat at restaurants that have outdoor seating). I do feel fat and sluggish and look fat and sluggish. The only exercise I get is walking to the refrigerator (lower body) and opening and closing the refrigerator doors (upper body).

Same here, and not going to the gym isn't helping. However, I think I lost a couple lbs. last Friday when I finally broke down and got a haircut after 3 months!

I still weigh the same (104 lbs) as when we returned from our Big Game trip on February 6. We have a home gym where I workout for about 2 hours on most days each week. While the number on the scale hasn't changed, my muscle definition is closer to where I want it to be. :woohoo:

Covid 19 Fattie here..I've been baking wayyyy too much. Eating homemade dough pizzas (finally got the sold-out yeast), drinking sugary cocktails - Aperal spritzers. I've been baking cookies every Friday night. Flipping pancakes on Sunday morning and that carbfest called Movie Theater Home Popcorn is my shame. My gym has been shut down for 3 months. My personal trainer and I tried on Zoom, it wasn't enough. I quit skiing 3 days a week because that was closed too. While my pant size hasn't changed, I feel things getting a little snug. I get a little worried.

Friends ---I'm on it. The parks are open again, hello uphill hikes, fresh air, mountain biking, and welcome back personal trainer (haha yelling at me "one more - you got this" masked from 6 feet away), I LOVE YOU all. Buh-bye pizzas and hello mason jar salads. Buh-bye Aperal, hello Skinny Vodka lemonade. Cookies I'll see you all next winter or maybe not at all except on Christmas. Nice to meet you banana popsicle. And on Friday night, instead of hitting the movie theatre popcorn and Netflix, we will just skip and tax a long walk around our neighborhood instead.

When its safe to go to Vegas again, I got three adorable party shirts and skinny jeans and a shopping mall with unseen treasures that's worth that effort...and needs me to be ready for them!

At this time of year, I'm usually 220. A couple of days ago the scale displayed a solid 232.

Could be worse as my all-time high was just shy of 250.

Raising my hand over here! I'm up about 6 pounds last I checked. I was doing so well before the virus hit. I went to the gym 2-3 times a week, I have an elliptical at home that I actually have still been using daily, but I'm just eating more junk, drinking more wine.

The gyms have reopened here, but I'm just not sure if the risk is worth going to a gym right now. I honestly think a casino would be safer, but those are not open yet. Darn. LOL

I had lost about 17 to 21 pounds during October November December.
When the lock down hit, I gained some of it back. I was eating like crazy in the house and baking cakes and brownies.
In the last week or two I think i lost a few again.
I feel a little bit better and look at least a little bit better... so I've been told.

Family lost across the board eating healthier at home rather than eating out, less alcohol.

We had bought a treadmill for Xmas and I wore out the elliptical. Down 8 lbs from Nov, daughter is down 20 lbs. wife and boys down 5-10 lbs. we did intermittent fasting off and on as well. The 20 hour fast seems really effective doing 3-4 days per week.

But also we all started out REALLY FAT after the holidays so that makes it easier to lose [emoji23][emoji23]

I know this post is a little late but you gotta try this Detroit style pizza here. The cooking time is longer than the recipe indicates in my experience but it's really good. Sauce is good, too. I'm making again tomorrow.

Sorry for posting a recipe in the "trying not to get fatter during quarantine" thread. Bad form. I'm upping my walking miles to compensate and barely holding my own. If only the ice cream man wouldn't keep showing up in the street with Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches I'd be OK. Just trying to support a local business ya'know.
