Thanks so much for posting. The pics and the commentary are very enlightening.
Could taking pics with the camera vertical instead of horizontal cause the pics to rotate 90°?

All I know is that he specifically said brothels and strip clubs were not part of the Phase One opening. Only in Nevada. :)

really eye opening and sad to see the strip so empty. It's such a huge part of vegas the crowds of people from all over the world , being there to have fun.
It's a stress relief to me personally. Which is weird since I hate crowds and lines but in Vegas it's the hustle and bustle that just puts me in great mood.

Agree with Marcianofan. Thank you for sharing and giving us details about how it really is there. I'm right next door to you in IL. Nice that you were in better weather than in our neck of the woods. Stay healthy and safe.

We went to Bar Code. Watched some UFC and had some drinks. Burgers are probably some of the best I’ve seen in the country. Lights appear to be on, on the strip, heading in a bit so I’ll post some pics

When talking to Uber guys they said this is the busiest week they’ve seen in months. Very light on the amount that are on the strip but way better than before

Getting ready to head out. A day in Vegas was about the right amount of time for what there is right now. Local consensus here is that things might start to open back up in late May to mid June. Pools will be among the last things to open. Once things start to open up, we will need someone to take one for the team and post trip reports what it’s like.

By the way, if you have never been off the strip, Bar Code is a must. I will be stopping by there in future trips. Great food/drinks and good prices. Also have bar top poker machines if you want to still gamble.

Thanks for posting the pics. It would be surreal walking around the strip with everything closed.

Yes, thank you for sharing with us.

I've been seeing locals heading down to ride their bikes and horses on The Strip. I think I would love that.

Very odd seeing the room lights complete dark besides the casinos that have decided to use them to make designs or encouraging words.

Nice report, @Marlin3 ...thanks for sharing!

I was also watching a local vlogger (Not Leaving Las Vegas) on YouTube last night who was streaming live from the strip. I was surprised at the number of folks who were out and about walking, biking, etc. He walked past some of the bars that were open and they were busy. RA Sushi by the Fashion Show Mall was open and serving customers inside and outside their restaurant. It was nice seeing the Vegas strip showing signs of life again, but it's still sad seeing all of the casino properties closed.

Thanks for the pics of the strip. Crazy to see it empty. I just saw a news clip from Arizona and they showed helicopter footage of the Casino that just opened - The line was around the building to get in. More locals there I think, but was crazy to see it compared to these strip pics in Vegas. Thanks again!!
