We have had the Vegas series on dvd for quite a while. Both the James Caan one and Robert Urich. I just plugged in the first episode of the James Caan Vegas one. Right of the bat with all the lights on the strip it is making me miss my trip I've postponed twice now. But I won't go back until I can fully enjoy it and we aren't treating each other like lepers. I'm hoping for September still.

This use to be shown in the UK but not seen it repeated since, I also had trouble trying to work out where it was supposed to be on the Strip. As a kid I remember watching the other Vega$ with Robert Ulrich, of course in them days I never acknowledged it being in Vegas. The cool thing I loved about it was that he always parked his car in his living room.

Thanks for the heads up. I recorded the ones that I could. I was disappointed that they didn't show the whole series and hope they show more. I love the show, knowing it isn't at all times factually correct, to say the least. My favorite is the amazing things that Mike and Danny could do in the surveillance room.

Watched a couple of episodes yesterday and still enjoyed them. The reality level was always a challenge though. The ability to facial recognize virtually anyone that walked into the casino always cracked me up. In one episode yesterday, they were able to access the banking history of a suspected cheat. Come on Danny, am I supposed to believe that?

Agree though the suspension of reality makes it comical in an entertaining way.

Still entertaining. It's always amazed me that more tv shows don't have someone to monitor reality. So many time you could follow reality and the scene could be just as good with proper writing. A little fudging now and again is one thing, but personally, I would enjoy it more because it wouldn't be insulting my intelligence.

I love this show, but totally agree. In one episode, Danny and Mary go with a couple to Santa Anita to watch their horse run and the man supposedly bets $200,000 on his horse to win, except the WPS chart, which is clearly visible on a video screen and looks to be authentic, only shows the horse has a little more than $1,500 on it to win. In another, they show a BJ player hit a 15 and receive a 5 at the beginning of the show and then show the same hand at the end. Still, I liked many of the plots and the high-tech look of the show.
