I've got trips booked for late July, mid September and Halloween weekend. Potentially going to do a December trip as well if the other trips dont take all my money. Hoping all will be good to go.

I'm certain it will be 2021. Not for fear of the bug, but when the lid finally lifts we have other travel bases we want to tag. Definitely two Vegas trips next year.

I REALLY want to book something. So badly. However until things clear as far as International travel I just can't. Not to mention what Vegas is actually going to look like. For me not knowing about self isolation when we return also factors in. I'll hang back and see what others experience are.

I used to say I wouldn't go unless everything is open. I am changing my mind on that, mostly out of desperation and needing to feel somewhat normal. And having a ton of vacation time to use that I have no desire to use here. Right now I am clinging to September and have booked hotel. But honestly would probably go once the Canadian border opened, and if some things were open. But if almost everything is closed and masks are required everywhere, I won't. But if I can play slots, pools and restaurants and some smaller bar areas are open, I might go. I am somewhat high risk ( asthmatic), but I just can't see myself hiding for years. I know there are some Vegas vloggers who are planning to go when things open, so that will be interesting to see.

Mrs D and I booked the cosmo and caesars for July 5th to 12th.
If we are able to go and Vegas is open we will be there.

One big thing that could affect us-

summer camp looks like it’s up in the air. If the kids aren’t going to overnight, that’ll throw a wrench in our plans.

we were tossing around contingencies if that happens. We were actually considering flying into Vegas with the kids and then going to outdoor things around. Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, and other parks. Maybe a couple of days in Vegas at the start and then the end.

don’t know what kids stuff will be affected. Pools are a big question.

I still remember when dad brought us to Vegas when I was 6. Stayed at the circus circus. At the time I thought it was cool. Now I know better.

After reading some of the responses, I feel like I'm one of the "lucky" ones. Vegas is a 45 minute flight or a 4.5 hour drive so it's quick and easy for me. I'm more than happy to test the waters for everyone and may do a TR if the trip actually happens. Honestly though, I'm kind of curious what a post apocalyptic Vegas looks like, lol.

I'm booked for the end of July and the end of September. Cautiously optimistic that I won't have to cancel the late July trip.

    Appreciate that!
I may actually break my long-standing tradition of NOT doing trip reports & do one as well, assuming my June trip happens!
    {Fair warning: it will be pretty boring - just drinking, gambling and a few meals...but I can certainly provide an update on "conditions" and the "feel" of the place.}

Cancelled my April trip as things turned bad - even before they shut-down...rescheduled for late August....free room / SW flight with points / enough comps to eat all week as long as CET has enough restaurants open......as long as I get good drinks at a good slot.....can bask in the heat at the pool with a big foo-foo drink....I will go. Know that we will be taking a chance.....there are risks...more now that the ones we have always lived with. But I need a distraction in the worst way.....Hubby passed away in February....hence the cancelled April trip...just knew wasn't ready to go....Have had an additional 4 deaths in our family within 2 months ….3 were COVID 19 confirmed & the other was on the front end before they automatically confirmed reason. Really hoping to be able to enjoy a trip to my fav city....have had too many losses & I need some healing time....

I'm scheduled for June, but I'm waiting to hear how things are when the casinos open. If there are very few tables open, and they keep the current limits in place (6 to a craps table) I will wait until they do some additional easing of restrictions.

I have the want, but will probably go local until Vegas is mostly up and running. I don't think I would want to go and be locked into like 5 places. Will let them get the kinks out as well...

I have 4 nights booked at Vdara at the end of July, no flights booked yet so that trip’s 50/50. My annual trip in November is completely booked, so that trip is 99% happening.

Good for you. You definitely deserve the respite from all the crap you have had to endure. I am truly sorry for your losses. Plus, you have to work on your tan. Hopefully August is when we go. Really looking forward to it, had to cancel April. I am eagerly anticipating trip reports as to what to expect.

I am from Canada as well. It isn't looking good. At our re opening announcement this week, it was announced that travel wouldn't be allowed until there is a vaccine, herd immunity, or a treatment. Not sure if that means the borders will be closed indefinitely or not. But I am very sad about this. Inter provincial travel isn't even currently allowed unless you self isolate for 2 weeks.

I'm booked for the last weekend in June, mid-week in November to see Tom Fogerty on the 4th, and I just booked a reservation then towards the end of the month for MLife's Holiday Gift Shoppe.

I don't really have a big fear of travel a month from now, and am actually looking forward to seeing how Vegas has adapted in these three time periods after the pandemic lockdown (assuming it's over, of course).

Pulled the trigger and booked June 25th-28th, had flight credits expiring. As long as we have slots, a few craps tables and pools open with the option of pick up for food, we are going. Haven't booked a room yet, though. It's our last chance until November due to my husbands job.
