I hope that is what it means but the wording of the announcement has me doubting that the benefits will be reloaded come Jan 31 2021. They say that "Tier level benefits extended through Jan 31 2022". That could mean that your 7 Star trip that you earned through 2019 earning of 2020 status can be used anytime from now till Jan 2022, rather than you can have a trip this year and then get another one in 2022 if you don't requalify this year with 125,000 TCs

I can’t imagine them not socially distancing between machines, there may be some limited capacity issues as well so in the abundance of caution, I cannot see a situation where anyone is allowed (deliberately) within 6 feet of one another. I think Nevada just released something to this so I would check correspondence from the Gaming Commission to confirm.

I am hoping the 5x tier multiplier will not be specific to vegas but for all CET casinos (including Windsor Ontario)

It isn't fair if someone who earned their tc's last year gets extended and I for instance who earned them this year get the same expiration.

You should always try to better your tier, since the 3 versions of Diamond have different benefits. I'm cheesing for the thought of 7 Stars. Already Diamond Plus and 9,000 tcs from Elite based on this chart. I wonder if the 5x tc's means 25x for hotel spend. Oh man.

Oh....only 12k needed for Diamond? That's doable in a week, especially with the boost they gave in April and May on the app.

Agree. I think this means ONE cruise between now and January 2022, ONE Seven Stars retreat (with $1200 airfare reimbursement, $500 folio credit), etc., though it would seem that CET WOULD let you do the Seven Stars events this year and next, but I assume this year's in AC, which is scheduled for June, may not take place. And TBD on the Vegas August Seven Stars event, which included tickets to Sting or Shania Twain, neither of which may happen. These are all hard costs so it would be highly unusual for any company, let alone CET/El Dorado, to give thousands of dollars of benefits this year and next year when you could in theory not play any more until potentially this time in 2021 to earn status for 2022.

If I'm wrong, then this would be extremely generous for CET/Eldorado to do.

I earned more than 250k TC in 2019 so I'm glad that at least the $500 in extra folio credit I earned I can still use on top of my Seven Stars retreat, whenever I take that trip. (Still hoping for August.)

Edited: I had said originally that the Seven Stars event provided 2 tickets to Sting or Garth Brooks. It is not Garth, but rather Sting or Shiana Twain. I got a ticket to Garth on my own dime.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but I am going to wait until an official announcement from CET. I was just checking out the source Seven Star Insiders, on their main page they still talk about Diamond Aspiration level and acknowledge they have no official connection to CET. I hope the information they posted is accurate but I will wait for something more official before I buy into it.

It would be a good way of knocking off a huge number of their best customers all at once :wink2:

I am one of those who balances play between MGM and CET who, under before-time circumstances, would have already maintained by now the desired tier through the next gaming year at both places. MGM gave an extra few months and changed their gaming year to align with the calendar year, but I am not going to make a run at Platinum. I had already locked up Mlife Gold through September 2021 (now January 2022) and might have given MGM another Vegas stay this year (probably in June) if my offers stayed at least good enough. My MGM regional (Springfield) would have also gotten more of my local action anyway in non-travel months. I was going to lock up CET base Diamond with a weekend trip to AC last month (with the 5x TC multiplier offer, which could have put me close to Diamond Plus), but now it appears that the CR app bonuses from last month put me over through January 2022. One more CET trip -- AC or Vegas -- can now probably enhance that to Diamond Plus (even without a 5x TC multiplier).

If I only get one more Vegas (or AC) trip in 2020, and if this latest news is true, CET might have just gotten priority.

Nope - Not fair some people lost their jobs. Not fair some had flights cancelled and no refund. Not fair some people lost their vacation of a lifetime. Not fair that some did not get their long planned wedding. Not fair some did not attend Grandma's funeral.

Why does it matter that someone else got a longer status time than another?

Because it makes no sense. Better thing to do is simply add one extra year on to everyone's status at their current level. I mean I'll still take it, happily. To be fair until CR releases this themselves I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

This is what they did. Your current tier status won't expire until Jan 2022.

This was posted on the TR webpage today:

"Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Reward Credit expirations have been paused until at least September 1, 2020. We are also making Tier Status easier to achieve and will share details soon. Stay tuned."

    https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/profile/#myrewards

So, it appears that they are making SOME modifications to the plan, and my confidence level to the original subject of this post has risen to 99.5%.
