Caesars has just opened its online casino and sportsbook for PA. They only have a few slot games available at this time. There is a $300 deposit match that I took advantage of and converted it to $718.00. You earn tier credits for online gambling. I seem to recall hearing that sports bets and online gaming can mess up your comps. Should I be concerned?

You get 1 tier credit for each $10 in slots and $100 in video poker. So the earnings are lower. I likely would only play video poker once it is available and sports betting when sports comes back.

No one seems to have a definitive answer to this question. In New Jersey, I asked multiple people from my host down to the people signing you up for their mobile app and was told it is treated as something totally different and does not impact offers anywhere. Not living in NJ, I have not been able to personally verify. I do however live in PA and am hoping that I can use the app to earn some tier credits towards retaining Diamond.

Specifically the issue you heard about was Nevada specific, where sports wagers were deemed to be wagers placed at The Cromwell in the instance discussed. Multiple small wagers over a month showing the person had made many low playing visits which negatively impacted his offers.

I would think at the very least, even if there was an impact it would have to impact your offers at Caesars Philadelphia, which I don't have any for. I'm just hoping that it won't hurt atlantic city offers.

Thanks. I never go to Caesars Philly so that would not bother me at all. I booked my October reservations already at Cromwell so I guess if my comps go down I can quit playing and make it up in October.

Now if the app would just add video poker I will be set. Of course at $100 per tier credit I won't be earning all that many. Bet Rivers has full pay VP but I quit playing earlier in the month since I was taking a beating.

you can only play when you're physically in PA it doesn't matter where you live

Draftkings and Fanduel let you have one account for all of the states they are legal (although it's semi sepate- you have to log into that state's specific site link/ if you want to check bet history for example and you're logged into PA but made bets in Jersey you have to click again to see bets made out of state and relog in)

For the other legal sportsbooks i've used you need one account per state. So i've been able to double dip on bonuses.

Playing in PA should not impact your comps in Las Vegas. I'm sorry if my response confused you. I believe as I did a little more reading, that in Nevada the app does consider it a visit at one of the properties (that varies by player). In NJ it does not register as a visit and so does not impact comps. My assumption is that PA should mirror NJ, but either way it should only impact comps at Harrah's Philly.

The slot payback percentages are typically set higher online (Sugarhouse has a number of slots that list payback percentages.) I feel like my days are far more swingy online than in brick and mortar, but I kept taking a beating on VP with sugarhouse (now betrivers) so maybe it's not just me lol.

It is not just you. I haven't calculated my payback for the month yet but I know it is really low.

Not sure how it will effect your comps but here are my 2cents on the app.

I’ve played in the WSOP app( run by the same people) for a few years. The WSOP app runs pretty well. It also has a link to a Rio casino online. This app has never effected my comps.
