anyone getting big deals? Just saw this popup today myvegas facebook I havent really played since december
Nice! Generally speaking, the offers get worse the more you buy, once they have you where they want you. This is particularly the case on MyKonami. A chip bundle that costs me (Tier 7) $39.99 will cost a new or inactive player $1.99. I see this on my family's devices often.
OK, I did get one. But it was the same offer that I had been getting, except with different marquees. "A Special Deal for You" "Limited Time Offer" "Exclusive Offer" "Don't Miss This Deal", and finally, IMHO, it's a standard marketing offer. They have a program thatrates players, just like the casinos do to provide comp offers. I guess that my offer was (a little) nicer than yours, but I didn't notice at first.
Seems like myvegas is incentiving people to upgrade VIP levels. Although with the lifetime spend requirement for customized rewards, might not be worth it for most except those who spent significant amount of money.
I got an offer for 1.9 billion chips for $19 USD today. I took it, I figure I can earn at least a million LPs with that through level-ups on a Double XP day... and that's worth way more than $19 by my calculations. OP if you don't mind me asking, what's your lifetime spend on the game? I'm wondering if that's tied to the value of the offer in any way. I was at $225 USD before this purchase.
I don't think lifetime spend should be a factor in the chip amount. I think that your game level should be the major factor. It is way harder to level up when you're level 5,000+ and so you need more coins, and so the game should offer more coins to people at higher levels. Otherwise, people at higher levels (like DaiLun) would never buy chips. On another note, DaiLun, can you please ask your host why Park MGM is 35k for one night but like 130k for two nights?
I've asked, but just like the one night comp at Aria is 200,000 and the two night is 198,000, it could be "that's just how it is . . . . . "
Park MGM strikes me as a “testing ground” for MGM’s profitability strategies. As I understand it, they were the first MGM property to introduce no comp drinks on bartop machines, and they were the first to introduce that 5% “venue fee” on bar tabs which didn’t last too long. With that being said, I suspect they’re trying to cut down on freebies at Park MGM which could well explain why the only “outright” freebies available on MyVegas are nightclub entry and two free drinks.
My theory is that with the current Vegas Mayor's plans, MyVegas felt that a once in a lifetime offer wasn't really going to tie them down into a long-term commitment.
I recently purchased 1.6 billion chips for $9. I have spent less than $20 on this game. I only purchased the chips in order to be able to redeem the Maverick ride to the grand canyon for 3 million LP's on my next trip. I'm only several hundred thousand short of the LP level. I've almost given up on Mlife properties, so the LP's I have won't be used there, no matter how many rewards I can use per trip.
You might want to check the rewards tab, Maverick Grand Canyon helicopter comp tour has been gone for about a week or two.
My host answered. Paraphrasing, this is what she stated. “Typically, mLife prices their rewards independent of Playstudios, so that is the current pricing. However, the rewards catalog is currently undergoing a review to ensure fair and equitable pricing, so it is subject to change”.
Thank you. I realize it's a reward that comes and goes on occasion, but I'm not planning a trip until late fall, if at all this year. And $9 isn't a bad price for entertainment.
