I’m thinking of allowing the OH to give me a clipper cut. It will be the longest attachment he has, and we are not allowed out for quite some time yet. It will grow back. I’ll get a nice cut when it’s grown back. My hair is like weeds. It grows so fast it’s unbelievable.

I normally cut my hair every 10 - 12 weeks. It's been 14 weeks since I last had a hair cut. Problem will be at least another 2 weeks, maybe more before they relax quarantine. Don't really have enough to make a pigtail, lol.

But even then, I would go back to vegas even with the shaggy look.

I've been shaving my head for years. I also have a beard, own an excellent beard trimmer, and know how to use it.

    I'm good.

I posted about this on the Amazon purchase thread. My new found love of whipping on a wig should cover all nastiness for a Vegas trip and then some. :) However, I did whack at the bangs a bit just yesterday. Oops. Too short. I would put a wig on (one of 3 lol) but no one will see anyway right. Now what to do with hubby. He is getting shaggy. I can not cut as stated. hmmm man wig?

I have been a regular every 2 week guy for the last 20+ years. I've fluctuated between a #2 all the way down to the triple 000. Over the last year I've gradually moved back to a consistent #2, my wife thinks it makes me look younger to go a little longer. This situation has me thinking I might go back to my HS days and actually let it grow out even more. I was going to give myself a trim after about two weeks but we talked about letting it grow out. It's to the point where it is pretty much laying down now.

We are at least 2 weeks away from barber shops reopening, so I have plenty of time to give it more thought.

Back to the original question, I would go hair cut or not.

My hairdresser offered to come to my house. My issue is not a haircut---I need my roots touched up. I'm blonde----well...I used to be blonde(as a child). I'll wait another month to decide whether or not to take her up on her kind offer.

Do you have someone in the house who could do your dye? I did my wife's two weeks ago. Her hairdresser dropped off her product and she did a YouTube vid for all the helpers.

I spend $15 on a haircut once - at most - per month. After a flight across the country and cost of a room plus bankroll, the haircut is the least of my concerns.
Over in Manland we have quite possibly the most advanced scientific solution to most hair related issues: the baseball cap.

'Cause once per annum is insufficient...

I am going to get quite bushy and white on the front, curly (and brown-ish) on the sides and in back. In tech speak I will be shaggy. I can think of, oh, about 123,583 other things that are actually problematic.

Haircut, no. I have long hair, no bangs, so a little longer doesn't really show much.

Now I DO get a pedicure pre-Vegas for every trip.

Would no pedicure stop me? No way in Hades, I'd just do it myself. Factors might delay Vegas for us, but hair/nails are not one of them! (Though I understand how it could be for someone else. For me, my looks need a lot more help than what a haircut can contribute!!!)

Oh absolutely...I really wish I could cut my own hair. I've never taken a trip without a neat haircut just prior, so yeah, I would pass on a Vegas trip if I had to go out today.

My last cut was before my February Vegas trip. I usually get a #4 on the sides/back and leave about an inch on top. Looking in the mirror, I decided with my hair being longer it looks really grey and terribly curly so I cut it myself last night. I'll ask my wife to touch up the neck and any long hairs I missed but it will do.

Having lived overseas for many years I've had some interesting haircuts. I always say the difference in a good haircut and a bad haircut is about 3 weeks.
