@Count de Monet is constructing 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzles while studying NHL trends to improve his prognosticating track record
@the nuts is still trying to decipher the lyrics of The Beetlejuice song 'This Is Beetle' (he's bad as can)
@Gino is combing the web trying to find more GG Allin fecal eating videos

I'm assuming that everyone who is abiding by the rules now has some new-found free time on their hands.

Perhaps you're trying new ways to strategically lock your children into a soundproof space without them knowing it (or your spouse, for that matter)?

I'm off and running on a project I've been wanting to start for years now. I'm writing a Hallmark Channel holiday movie.

    Why are you laughing?

They do follow a similar pattern, so that's easy enough. There is always a death involved with somebody's spouse and it's always wise for the setting to be in a northern, rural town where there's snow.

I just need to figure out exactly what this recluse is doing and we he's so...recluse-ish.

It's going to be something and the research over the last 10 days is really starting to pay off.

It's imperative that my favorite Canadian in North America play the lead (Merritt Patterson). I see us together in the future...even if she doesn't know that yet (and never will, I guess).
    Merritt.jpg
She's been in many of these...I mean, so I've been told. It's not like I've seen any of these or anything.

I'm sure mine will be made, but it will have to wait awhile because nobody is falling in love while covering their face in a bandana.

Should give time for a solid bidding war for the rights to produce this masterpiece.

Hopefully y'all are aiming for new heights with activities you may not normally have time for.

    Be good.

I wouldn't say it's new but I've been drinking more wine... quite a bit more.

Been putting off getting back into working out for months now but finally took the plunge and have been doing Insanity everyday for 3 weeks now. I always go super healthy/losing weight/not drinking (which is by far my main vice) pretty hard core for like 3 or 4 months, get great results, then just go back to not working out and drinking, rinse, repeat. Im in the rinse phase lol since there's literally nothing else to do and drinking at home just isn't nearly as fun as hitting up random bars/casinos.

I have been spending time adding new recipes to my repertoire.

I have found a new chef on YouTube and I have cooked several of her dishes. Her name is Emily Kim and her YouTube name is Maangchi.

    I have cooked

Kkhanpungi - Spicy Fried Chicken (twice since it was sooooo good!)
    Honey Butter Chicken
Jjampong - Spicy Seafood Noodle soup

    and today,

wanja-jeon - meat and tofu pancake, a Korean banchan (or side dish)

I have also cooked Adam Liaw's mapo tofu

    Pictures to follow.

    On my list of futures

    Hainan style chicken rice
    Hand Pulled Noodles

I'm going to put the pictures to the "what to make for dinner thread":

Man, I'd love some more work. I only have two active assignments right now, and no one seems to be around to interview.

Sit in front of a mirror and interview yourself and make it comical.
Pretend you are doing a job interview.....
    "What position are you seeking"?
    "Doggy style"
that was an example to get you started.

Considering I'm on lockdown in Spain, I'm doing this too. Have been working with the app for a while, but now have so much more time to practice. Maybe I will emerge from this being able to converse properly with our Spanish neighbours. (Not holding my breath on that one.)

I have started to cook again. My pantry and freezer actually has food in it. I thinking about baking cookies, cornbread, and maybe muffins. I am about to open those casino gifts, pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker and put them to good use.

Every night at bedtime, I decide to eat less. Every morning I remember my plan … until I decide to taste something. I'm wearing a track to the refrigerator. And let's not talk about my plans to not drink wine or beer.

For some reason, my pants seem to be shrinking.

Seriously, I need to exercise more. I play, or used to, lots of tennis. I'm a very social person, and get so easily bored with solo exercise, but I do well with partners. Mental case? Assuredly.

I'm trying to eat my body weight in tiger bread before the lockdown is over here, and gyms re-open. Doing quite well in the first 3 weeks, too.

Have started dabbling a bit in online poker, to try and pay for two trips at the back end of 2020. Not new, but so long since I've bothered, it might as well be :p

At five o’clock our governor does ninety minutes of Mr. Rogers/Andy Griffith. I recognize that it might be useful for my mental health, but it’s also five o’clock. So I guess I’ve developed a schedule.

I am getting proficient at day drinking, which isn't hard for me since I work 3rd shift. Plus, I am honing my skills in Battlefield 1. (and for those who don't know battlefield it's a 1st person shooter game)

Sorry for the late response, another 15 hour day. Hope things get better for you. Daily sipping wine is Unanime Gran Vino Tinto 14 cab sav, bought a case at total wine (Argentinean Malbec), and Caymus 17 when I'm really stressed out due to work, which began to get significantly more difficult early March (I'll let you do the math). I'm 33 but I feel 60, I'm sure the full bodied cabs daily aren't helping. Had a glass before bed, again.

I've been honing my sewing skills by making some facemasks. I made 4 different types to test out which ones I like the best. So far, I think the pleated style is the most comfortable to wear. It fits more like a regular surgical mask, so I made a few of those.

Other than that, I have more time now to learn a few new tunes on my guitar. I haven't had any complaints from my neighbors, so I guess my playing isn't too bad. Although, I've been playing mostly my acoustic guitar and not my electric, so it's not as loud. LOL

I also have more time to play games on my VR headset (Oculus Rift S). Beat Saber is a cool game. You're basically slashing cubes with duel light sabers and dodging obstacle flying at you to the beat of different rock tunes. It's also an intense game when you play at the higher levels and it can give you a good workout too. A few other favorite VR games are Dead & Buried (first person shooter), Robo Recall (battling robots), Vader Immortal (Star Wars), and Doctor Who: The Edge of Time. Google Earth VR is another cool VR title where you can take virtual tours of anywhere on earth, even Vegas. Since we can't travel anywhere, I can at least tour the world in virtual reality.

I have been meaning to get into VR, are the Oculus Rift S a good value for the price or would you recommend a different model or brand? Also, I have read you need to dedicate a decent size space so you have room to move around? sound about right?
