    My Trip Report

When everyone left and I went to the photo convention, I got motivated to walk the Strip south to north.......in 2 nights. Here's my North night.

By the way, what everyone says about walking alone from the Frontier to the Saharah is correct. I put on my mean face and walked with attitude, got hassled once, and got quite a few looks.....I'm sure it was because of the camera I was carrying......

By the way, my pictures are much sharper then the small size you see here. I shouldn't have to say that....but it bothers me nonetheless.

You probably should have stuck a vibrator in your ear while walking up there, then NO ONE would have messed with you. :rolleyes2:

    BTW- Nice pics Lar.

Funny how there were no 'incriminating' photos this time and his card *didn't* get corrupted...

    Seriously though, nice pics, Larry.

I want to hear the stories, too.

Pictures in front of the Mirage are awesome. Here is an old one of me in 1990. I know it looks like crap because when I scanned it I had no idea what I was doing and I have since been unable to find the print, but you get the idea.

Um....I've shot a grand total of 2 weddings in my life for friends (3 if you count a wedding in a Vegas Chapel). You sure you want me?

    August 18th...I think I have off.

Sorry for the double post. haven't figured out how to do the multiple quite thing without cut and pasting...and I'm too lazy for that.

I bought a Nikon D200 and shot it with an 18-35 tamron lens. I can't remember if I bumped the ISO to 1600 or 3200, but it was hand held at 1/80 f/3.5. If it wasn't so windy and cold, I could've knocked the iSO down a notch to reduce the noise.

    Crap. A triple post.

    My bad. Forgot these:

I was so mad. When I first got to the light in front of Circus Circus there were no cars out front. The place was empty. As soon as I raised my camera, there were cars in the way for 20 minutes. I finally gave up, took the photo and moved on.

    Mikey> Stories to come soon.

Hey now, you know I'm married, you think I'd do that again? :evillaugh I just have to pay the bill...youngest daughter. :)

And Lar, your photos are proof enough to me that if I can't find a photographer come August you may just find yourself in the corn fields of central Illinois. :haha:
