It’s a gorgeous day. Going to put my short sleeved shirt and yoga pants on throw my fanny pack on- don’t be a hater. It is a great way to carry cell phone, keys, and doggy doo doo bags. Time to take the dogs for a walk then do my power walk which turns in to me looking like a dog dragging its butt. I need motivation. Think Las Vegas and pools.

We had as close to a hurrican as we could get....wicked wind that did damage in MA...trees down and some fell on houses, power lines down. We lost power for about 30 minutes but our power company is in our city and belongs to us so they are up and fixing very quickly. People who have Eversource or National Grid always are out for days after an event. Of course after seeing about the storms in the south this month, we are still grateful for the small blessings.

Tomorrow supposed to hit right at 80 in central San Diego. Gonna use the shop-vac to blow up the inflatable pool and pretend I'm at the Mirage. Will get the kids to dump water on me, just the same as the waterfall, right?

Last Thursday was a near record 87, and this morning 30. That is the Ozarks for you.

HWGA! Another Snowmageddon warning on the evening news, this time for tomorrow morning. I don't have to go anywhere, so I'm not concerned, but there have been sooooooo many false alarms this season!

Here in central Nebraska chance of 3-6” of snow tonight and tomorrow. Will be about 30 degrees below normal. Next Monday forecast is for 70, just never really what you get here in the spring! But unusually low temps for this spring.

When I woke up this morning and looked out the window, everything was covered in snow! Then when I turned on the TV for the morning news, I hear that there was a massive pile up of around 60 cars on I-90/94 heading towards downtown Chicago.

A cold front came though late yesterday and brought us much needed rain. The high is supposed to be 69 today down from near record highs the past three days. Will have to dig out the fur lined bathing suit today.

This was what they predicted here in the Omaha area. Of course nothing, but now they are saying the Blizzard Of The Century will hit this afternoon.

Well, this one time out of maybe 10 or so recent false alarms, the local weatherguessers got this one partially, partially that is, correct.

Looking out the front window, there's maybe 3" or so of snow on the yard. That's on the YARD. On the driveway, street and sidewalk there's zero, 'cuz it melted as it hit. The outdoor thermometer says 34F.

April snowstorm last night----temps were low but it is melting now as we speak as the temps move up to the 40s. Too cold and ugly for this late in April...although we did get 22 inches back in 1997 on this day.

Just won't make that big leap into the 70's and stay there. It's been quite blustery. Every time I get ready to start putting in my plants, I see a forecast for mid to low 40's and I back off.

Husband is getting antsy to be planting too.
Weather temps have been up and down from mid 50s to about 40 at night.
Still quite a bit of rain over the past 10 days or so.
In the 15 years I've lived in Southern California, have never seen the weather like this.
I'm a hardy New Englander and not complaining. Just a bit weird to me.
Gotta count my blessings as I ramble on.
Temp at 54 right now. We'll see if it brightens up.

*oops I meant hardy not hearty. brain fart.

Crazy day here in south central Texas. Thunderstorms across the area, possible tornadoes 30 miles east of us. Rain gauge shows 4.5 inches so far, more on the way. Guess I won’t need to water the tomatoes for a couple days....

If we have a low snow winter, we New Englanders always say that we will pay for this later....Well, the easy winter has exacted its price this spring---cold, wet and windy---at least two out of three every day. Today is windy and cool with below freezing temps again tonight. It is supposed to warm up later in the week---but come on, itis almost the middle of May.

Cristobal brought us heavy rains for three days and we are 500 miles away from the track. Now 50% chance of rain (mostly afternoon) which is our summer weather pattern.
