CEO also said all events that are canceled they will work on rescheduling these events. I am looking forward the 5x Tier Credits in April so hopeful we can go to the rescheduled 5x multiplier day.

I can't find it on the website, but my Caesars Rewards app has a section for Coronavirus Guest Information that was updated 3/25 and says "All scheduled Reward Credit expirations have been paused until at least September 1, 2020."

This was very helpful. Thanks. Among other things, it was explicit in answering my question about my Experience Credit, which was tied to my April Seven Stars trip.

Frustrating that they are making it ‘easier to achieve’. I’d rather they just extend like most companies are.

They probably wan't to keep the status reset dates the same. CET tier reset is January 31st of every year. They can do whatever they want in my book. What they are offering is better than nothing and also better than MGM (for the time being at least).

Casinos are different than "most companies". but - they will still come up with ways to encourage people to come back in.

I'm sure much is up in the air as they don't even know when they can reopen. Remember, other them MGM beating them to the punch a bit early, it's the Governor who shut down things so they may be ready in a few weeks but the Gov may not be ready for a few months.

    True.

Any why would they do anything today, when they might have to change what they did next week or next month. Patience.

What I would "want" CET to do is treat 2020 as part of 2019. So, add your points earned in 2019 + 2020. And if you were already diamond in 2019, you will automatically still be diamond until Jan 2022 and whatever you have already earned in 2020 or will earn when they reopen can be used to get to higher levels. This would especially be fair to those who earned a boat load of TCs during the first 3 months before the shutdown, should it linger for a few more months. I know this is wishful thinking but hey, I'm bored.

while it would be nice it wouldn't be fair to casesars
there is definitely a happy medium in there somewhere

Looks like MGM extending status full year and adding on 3 months as they adjust their earning calendar. Caesars will probably follow suit

Would be nice, so far the only thing they've really done is extend RCs through "at least" September 1st, which is really a nothing burger. If CET doesn't align with MGM, they'll continue to lose market share and I say that as a loyal CET customer for over a decade.

Tiers should be lowered since there's months people cannot attend casinos, as well as a year+ extension of tier status tantamount to MGM. While they're closed currently through April 30th, I wouldn't be surprised if that's extended somewhat within May as well or at the very least, as some have mentioned, specific things (clubs, buffets, etc.) will be shuttered into the summer while the casino proper may be open. We shall see I guess, but action should be forthcoming this week from a PR standpoint if they're somewhat sensible.

I agree that extending to September 1st is effectively meaningless. I've already cancelled my July trip but figure, or at least hope, that I will be good to go for an August trip. I hope that will be the case but I took notice of another post that mentioned Burning Man, which was to have been held in late August/early September, will now be virtual and we may not have major sporting events with fans in the seats at all in the fall. Fauci said recently that he hopes we return to "some sense of normalcy" in November. . . which better explains in part MGM's thinking.

Edited to add: I plan to attend some concerts (Tony Bennett, Sting and Garth Brooks) during my August trip, knowing that there is some risk associated with that. It will be telling positively (if the shows go on) or negatively (if they do not) what happens for those August performances.

Agree. I have a trip scheduled for mid August, (seeing Sting, as well) and I have been thinking along those same lines. Still a ways out, but seriously considering moving my trip to October or November, at allow more time to return to "normalcy".
