I'm guessing I'm basically SOL here, but thought I would ask.

Just to preface this ... I'm not looking to get nasty here and complain, and I don't want it to turn into that, please! I just want to know if I have any options.

I worked (bought) my way up to level 2 and booked 2 free nights in May. Shortly after that, the level to book became 3. I now will not be able to make it in May, but I'm assuming I can't rebook them for September, since I'm still at level 2. I do not want to put any more money in at this point.

I'm going to leave them for now, just in case I somehow can go ... or I'm hoping maybe if they are the ones that cancel it down the road, maybe they'll let me rebook?

I cancelled mine for May. I will still be level 3 to rebook If they are open before July) but now would only get 2 nights.

Wrote into support and got this:

Thanks for being patient with us.
Considering the current public health reasons at this moment, we have canceled all reservations until April 30, 2020. We have also waived the cancellation fee for any booking cancelation.
We would also like to tell you that we understand your concern about rescheduling the booking. Rest assured that you would be able to reschedule your booking with the same number of consecutive nights regardless of your VIP level restrictions.
Currently, we are not rescheduling any booking as we are observing the situation. Our engineering and product development team is working on the issue. Please bear with us for a while. We will get back to you as early as possible.
You would also be glad to know that since March 17th, we have extended the current VIP cycle for 30 days for all our players so that they can earn more VIP Points and reach the next VIP level.
We hope this information was helpful. Please let us know if you have further queries.

Wow! Thanks for that info! That's pretty good news.
I think I'll email them as well just to have it in writing. LOL

I had a reservation just before everything closed. I emailed them asking about my gems and they didn't take the 25% refund penalty. Almost certain they will work with you on this. In fact, I sort of expect them to get a little more generous in the future as Vegas opens up again.

Depending on when your trip is, they might not even have reopened yet. I know they're aiming for May 1, but who knows... If THEY end up canceling your booking I feel like they'd be more lenient with options for rebooking even if your VIP status has gone down. For now I'd just wait.
