How about we try something completely new and different for VMB? If you're not interested in Tiger King, maybe just don't click on a thread about Tiger King? We just had a thread about baby geese go to crap yesterday for the same reason. Of the 5 replies here right now, three of them are about how much they don't care about the topic. (I'm deleting them as off topic now)
I'm only on Episode 4 and I am on Team Joe Exotic and Team Myrtle Beach Narcissistic Hippie Guy. Carole ain't all there.
I know Carole whacked her husband and fed him to the tigers. There is just something about her I don’t like.
I seriously dislike Carole. I'm halfway through episode 4, but I hear episode 5 is where it gets crazy.
Spoiler Alert: NONE OF THEM ARE! Like any good slow rollin' train wreck, you just can't look away. Peel another layer of the onion, every episode. Again, underscoring the merits of selective social distancing...
Christ, that was the longest episode of Jerry Springer ever. On a serious note I think the saddest thing I saw in the entire series was in the last couple of minutes in episode seven where the primate put his hand outside of the cage for the tiniest bit of contact. Broke my heart to see that.
That whole series took huge chunks of my heart out. Remember that closing line about more tigers in captivity in the US of A than there are running wild back home? That ain't right...but, you'll also remember those long lines of people who coughed up their money to pet a f*ing tiger cub. Once they're no longer cuddly and a revenue stream, we have to manage expenses. Since the tigers can't stop by the receptionist's desk and get a box for their personal effects, I reckon we're gonna have to cut headcount some other way. You know what I'm saying. Now that's heart breaking.
My daughter and wife got hooked on this, I overheard a lot of it while doing jigsaw puzzles. The first thing that came to mind for me is imagining how it would be described via closed captioning... My wife then found a drinking game based on the show. They got quite sloshed playing it... Guilty pleasures I suppose. It certainly got popular fast that is for sure.
I have only seen one. It is very different. When I get control of the TV remote I will watch the others. It is popular here locally.
It is seriously amazing that people at this level of crazy really exist. Carole was worse than Joe was. At least Joe would pay his staff. Carole worked with Volunteers. I loved the serious had to jump into character for the last episode.
