Very happy and very impressed to hear this.

I just happened to text my host earlier today to check in on him and he told me that a video message was sent to all employees informing them of this. I didn't want to post until this was public but there are now a number of articles reporting on this news.

Makes me feel that much better about the company where I spend/lose a nice piece of change most trips.

 

Booking an Apartment there for August. Glad to know I will be playing a part in helping a great organization.

Well done. All these companies that are doing right by their workers and their communities will hopefully be supported when they ramp back up.

 

My host said they could open before May 15th if the Governor permits casinos to be open then but implicit in the decision to pay employees until mid-May is that that may not happen.

I’ll make it a point to visit Wynn on my next trip. We haven’t been there I forever!

 

Hopefully will be there in August. I will make a point of spending most of my money there. I usually spread it around but this is an example of a corporation having a responsible reaction to a crisis. Not like Tenet Healthcare who announced today that it will be cutting benefits for its employees.

 

I met an employee at the Mgm , several years ago ,he told me that Wynn was a very desirable place to work, and that he applied for a job there. At that time he said Kirk Kerkorian wasn't like Steve Wynn ,management style . We are still friends today and when I'm in Vegas we go out and chat about the local scene. All I ever here about Wynn ,are good things, caring. Its the people and the way its managed that separates itself from the other Big Two …….
