I ran out of tp the day the stores ran out and have yet to find any since, been using the old school hand and shower method, srs

Just got back looking for some but they were out so figured I would get some produce. None of the produce felt right so didnt buy any.

Keep that in mind next time you want to hoard something.

 

I just can't understand hoarding toilet paper. I have Crohn's, so always have a few excess rolls. If I run out, I will improvise. Improvisation is often the better bet during a flare anyway. More gentle.

I would be more likely to hoard beer (any) and my favourite gin. A few bottles of wine wouldn't go amiss either.

when I got back home (Michigan) from Vegas on 3/16 we have crazy shit happening where ppl going nutz so on 3/18 I went to Walmart when it opened (literally) then I was able to buy some TP along w paper towel. Thank goodness lol. Oh yeah also some bottled water as well.

I mean to be fair, it's not like that toilet paper is necessarily unusable with sharpie marker on it. Just peel off a few layers and 90%+ of the roll should still be good.

I do agree with the general sentiment of what you're saying though. At least we haven't seen any of these provocative influencer types just yet doing anything ridiculous like burning rolls of toilet paper or ruining it somehow. THAT would be even more upsetting.

True. Wasting TP would be upsetting. Actually what I was trying to say is that some people have too much TP (hoarding out of fear understandably) and some people have nothing and are trying to get some.
