I ate there many many years ago. Very average food and high prices I remember. I'm pretty sure the Darth Vader costume from Return of the Jedi was on display?

They had a life size terminator figure at the restaurant. The one and only (never again) time I took my kids to Vegas it was a big thrill for them. I haven't been to the Forum Shops for years but I think PH is still there. I do recall it was costly.

Caesars was nothing like it is today when Planet Hollywood opened back in 1994. Back then the sign made sense.

Planet Hollywood should get a Little Caesars just to balance it out! :D

When it first opened there was a moving walkway from the strip right into a side entrance of the restaurant.
The original location was deeper in the Forum shops, pre Colosseum days

There used to be Planet Hollywood restaurants all across the country, but when they decided to start opening too many more (mainly in malls), I think it was too much and was what caused their downfall. We loved going to the one in downtown Chicago. The kids were still small, and they loved the whole atmosphere with all of the movie memorabilia. We had a great server that would give our oldest son a whole bowl of cherries to go with his sundae. Great times! Then, they opened one in Gurnee Mills mall in Gurnee, IL. It was nice that there was one closer, but it just wasn't the same. If I am not mistaken, the one in the Caesar's Forum shops is the only one left. Very sad!

Per PH's website, there are locations in Orlando, LAX, NY, London, Paris, and Malta.

There's an entrance to the Forum Shoppes right there and the restaurant isn't too far from that entrance. It's a back entrance used mostly by staff on smoke breaks. We only found it because they told us that's where the Big Bus picked up - by the PH sign.
