I am still booked for the end of April, but alot of the stats from various counties here in WI say "travel related.....travel related". I am just not understanding the need at this point

We are scheduled for May 5th----leaving it at that for right now.
A lot depends on what will be open--if only a few restaurants open--no will wait.
Also a big thing for me is will the pools be open--if not then don't want to go until they are.
We are looking at mid-June as an alternate date right now and will wait and see.

In a vacuum, as it stands today? Yes. Not knowing if NY, as an example, would place travel restrictions? No. My answer is based on present data, and the medical experts and scientists. As I see it Nevada isn't the issue. The traveling, predicated on the origination point, certainly is.

As long as the bird is flying and the casinos are open, I plan on being there May 3-7th. Things that could push that back: pool not open, restaurants still closed, multiple casinos closed, etc. As long as most things are open, I'll be there.

I still have my 4/22 - 4/26 trip (supposed to be for now cancelled NFL draft events) booked, but I am growing more skeptical each day that Vegas will be up and running by then.

If Vegas is up and running I plan to go, but I suspect it will be a significantly less eventful trip than the originally planned NFL Draft excitement. (Recently, rebooked my SW flight from FLL to LAS for $90 RT and got a $325 credit for a future trip.)

No way. I am at an age where I’m an “at risk” individual, but then I stop and think I’m at an age where I’m at risk for almost everything except acne, so maybe that’s not really it. I think the virus will still be around, so I’m thinking more like “If I catch it, would I rather be at home with access to my own physicians and med systems here, or would I rather be a tourist cobbling together emergency medical care in Las Vegas?” Easy answer.

Las Vegas is a Petri dish of worldwide travelers, with more offending surfaces and buttons than maybe anywhere else. I probably won’t be back until they have a vaccine, or at least an effective therapeutic regimen.

I was in Vegas the Friday before St. Patrick's Day. Wasn't scared then, and I wouldn't be scared going the day it opens back up.

The reason I am not booking anything for that date is thus:

1.) There is no guarantee the Governor might not extend the closure.

2.) I prefer Vegas when it is scorching hot, as I like pool weather. So either late July through late August.

As of now, I'm still planning May 11-17! I'll be there but only if things are open: restaurants, pools, full casino, etc! Otherwise, I will reschedule for June.

Can't answer. I'm not spooked. I just wouldn't go. This needs to be closer to a 4th of July-type countdown than May Day.

Not a chance. Had a trip booked for late april. Right after they announced the bands on Fremont Street would be shut down for 2 months, and all the restaurants/shows were closing/cancelling, I cancelled my trip until a later date. To top it off, I got laid off last night thanks to the coronavirus outbreak

Schools are closed until the end of April here, and my company extended our work from home order until May 1. I am not going anywhere near Vegas until later in the summer when I feel more confident the numbers should be down. But I would never begrudge someone who feels ok going, just make sure that you are being careful because there will be no way to know if it really has passed by then, which I don't think it will have.
