Hey...we are SAVING $$ by not going to the casinos.

Of course, the ONLINE SHOPPING just makes up for it! LOL

I am thinking just the opposite... We're not spending any money except for groceries. There is no entertainment or bowling to pay for, no spur-of-the-moment casino weekend trips, and I even filled my gas tank for $1.45/gallon (which might last a month before I need more gas).

I ran The Budget through April, and I am delightfully surprised with how nice it looks!

So true @breanna61. :) I’ll throw in a few of my own “Just Like Vegas” scenarios: Sleep schedule is completely off kilter, not giving a damn what I’m eating, basically using DoorDash like room service and just like my Vegas trips I’m using “Forensic Files” as background noise when it’s time for sleep.

Now if only I had all the ingredients for a Verbena. :drunk:

Yes, there are many valuable lessons in these unfortunate times. I am definitely going to add "hotel cocktail napkins" to my smuggle home list. Pens, swizzle sticks, and the napkins to get the whole home-Vegas vibe!

I am 58 and broke down. I bought a box of Lucky Charms which I have not had since my early 20's. And yes, that stuff was magically delicious. The two other items I bought, cinnamon pop tarts and Capn Crunch. Had a bowl of Capn this am, and funny enough, no top of the mouth road rash. Pop tarts maybe Saturday. After that I think I'm good/ no further need for that type of stuff.

Way to go @Maxbet ! Gotta confess I splurged on a great big plastic tub of Utz Cheese Balls - you know the ones that stain your fingers and lips orange as you stuff 15 or 20 in your mouth  And it’s gluten free

I have the ingredients for a pandemic party started. Today's quota of cocktails are down the tubes already or I would've added. :) *hiccup* Napkins.jpg

Ha! That reminds me, I did swipe my brothers cp in-room coasters. At the time he was so confused as to why I did this. “Failure to plan is a plan for failure” or something like that lol. I will use these during the big Elvis viewing party!

My son sent his Dad this - too funny. But probably how we feel now when someone coughs or sneezes around us.
