A May or June start doesn't automatically translate into less than 162. It's possible (but unlikely) that MLB will extend the season into late fall and play those games in enclosed or warmer weather stadiums and also have regular doubleheaders to get to 162. But yes, it's unlikely. Once things resume and MLB releases a new schedule, then we can get our refunds on o/u bets. Wish that happens soon so I can buy stock at/near the valley. :D

This was so great, game 7 2001 World Series. Luis hit that shit like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars hitting that proton shot and destroys the Death Star. Evil Empire down. The Yankees represent everything wrong with baseball.

I was looking forward to this Baseball season.
I went to my Local Casino and made some Future's Bets -
now that it is legal in my area.
I always look forward to the start of Baseball + The Masters Tourney !
    .
I did watch some Old Yankee Highlights.....
Jackie Robinson stealing home and Yogi protesting the "safe " call -
After a life time of watching that highlight --
That call could have gone either way ?.....IMHO.
If the home Ump had been in a position in front of Yogi -
I think he would have called Robinson "out"
As it was......the Ump was to the side + behind Yogi.
From that view.......I can understand the " safe " call.
    .
I have watched some NY Met telecasts from previous years being played
on the Met Channel..........but just for a couple minutes - to hear some of the player's names from
    the past.
    .
    No way MLB plays 162.
And because of that reason.....they should CANCEL ALL INTERLEAGUE games.
Concentrate on a shorter - complete INTRALEAGUE schedule !

But there are 15 teams in each league... one team from each league have to play each other, unless a scheduled is rigged to have an occasional weekend day off, and series staggered so that the lone team from each league isn't off for two or three consecutive days.

Home plate ump's 1st priority is determining ball or strike, then safe or out on the steal. Hence why he had a crap angle and position to make that call. Too bad they didn't have replay review in the 50s. :D

Elvis Andrus is a fantastic base runner, with great instincts. Watch him steal home, when the pitcher gets complacent.

That was a terrible moment for us Yankee fans. The Evil Empire will rise this year with Cole leading us to the World Series, if there’s a season.

Bring back double headers, even if day/night.... "Let's play two".

Haha, to see Jeter on the bench all sad after so much post season success, give me a break.

The Yankees are just like the dark side in the Star Wars series, they’ll always rise again because there’s too much money to be made from the Franchise. I’m sure Cole is putting the finishing touches on the Death Star as we speak.

You’re against teams doing whatever it takes to win for their fan base? The team you should really hate is the Houston Astros. All the Yankees do is spend money on the best talent available. Any team in MLB would do the same thing if they had the same resources.
