I was about to call it a night with some cheese and crackers when I came across this old machine. Gonna give it a try!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you had fun following along with this silly little thread. Yes, I was supposed to be in Vegas today. I actually woke up today saying to myself, hey, I can bring Vegas to myself and bring VMB with me. Yes, I did order Coronas for this purpose as I love to drink Coronas in Vegas. It was worth every penny, IMO.

Sometimes when life throws you a curveball, you need to make the best of it. It fucking sucks that this whole situation is happening right now. Really fucking sucks. But hey, it is better to be healthy than sick. And sometimes you need to learn that you can still laugh while being quarantined or locked in. In this situation, I had a blast creating this Virtual Vegas trip. I honestly felt like I was in Vegas for a moment! Having all the popular slot games on my Chromebook really helps (and the touchscreen too)!

Just remember, life is short. This situation isn't forever. Vegas is always going to be there. Right now, make the best of what life gives you, and learn to have some fun along the way...

NO MATTER HOW SILLY OR CRAZY IT IS!

I was about 9 or 10 years old when my mom came home from her Vegas trip and gave this to me as a souvenir. I have always kept it. And I was unable to get a picture of it, but amazingly, even though this machine is 25ish years old, it still lights up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inspired by your impromptu TR I decided to capture a few of the sights. What would a trip be without a visit to the Peppermill for a few drinks at the Fireside Lounge? Crowds have thinned out tonight. 2 drink minimum please.



The lights are still on in the private hot tub area. There will be regularly scheduled fountain shows tomorrow weather permitting. I have to admit cocktail service can be spotty as my wife is the only staff member I could keep on at this point.



I am in final negotiations for an animal show with the 2 dogs, the cat AND special guest the bearded dragon. Thus far the cat is the last hold out. She can be a mean negotiator. Demanding a dedicated napping area and prime window viewing seating. More details to come!

I'm so shocked you can do a fire inside like that?! That's amazing!!

 

Plans are underway as we speak. I don't have to actually be in town for 8 days so things are moving along nicely. Currently trying to retrofit a laundry folding table as a crap's table. Felt is running short so it might have to be a beach towel....

It's a propane firepit I use in the backyard and when camping if there is a fire ban. I have it in my garage for storage right now. I decided to 'fire it up' for a second to help out your TR.
