I usually fly cross the Atalantc every other month, and visit Vegas 10+ times a year.
So at any moment I always have several flight reservations and hotel reservations.
But this year I canceled all my travel since beginning of Feb.
Not that I am smarter than other people, but I knew the situation would get uglier before get better.

I should've been in Vegas this week, I was fortunate enough to get a credit with the airline. I have 6 months to book something, and since Spirit has booking around 6 months out, I can wait until next year if necessary. I hope it's not that long, but I was laid off yesterday. I hope my company survives this and hires us back.

Hell - I hope WE survive this!

My barber yells at me if he sees I've cut a few hairs. (The shop was closed when I drove by the other day.) I imagine the next time he sees me and yells, I'll tell him I had to cut it because I was tripping over it! :)

Unfortunately, we don’t yet know if a person is immune yet after recovering.

Out of an abundance of hope and positivity, I scheduled a trip for the 19th of next month, 2 days after the 30-day "lock down" could end. Can cancel both flight and resort no harm no foul, so I figured why not.

As I write this it's painful. I should have just gotten off work today with a Vegas trip coming Sunday. 4 days, Delano, VIP package, yadda yadda. I know it's the least thing I should be worried about since my whole state is currently locked down but I can't turn off my Vegas switch that easily.

Hoping for the best for all.

I’ve made up my mind, unless the casinos are totally closed, I’m going in May.

You may assume correctly from my 110 trips that I enjoy Vegas as much as anyone and I can't wait to go back. However, at this point, and at the risk of blaspheming, the heck with Vegas! The novelty of protracted "snow days" has past; I'd just like to survive and have life return to something resembling normalcy!

Had to postpone my MM trip. Now looking at April 23rd which would give the casinos a week to reopen after the mandatory shutdown. The Governor can’t be that crazy and close them another month and completely kill his entire state’s economy.

I hate to speculate, but I'd be surprised if the casinos are opened before July. Even if the governor lifts the order, some may still wait, since if they open and nobody shows up, they will lose money. I hope and pray I'm wrong, but 16 days ago I was planning a trip to Vegas, would've been their since Tuesday, and on that day I was training a new employee at work, as of Thursday I was laid off.

I decided last Sunday we were going to go. We left tuesday for vegas and we were there during the shut down. It was funny to see the casinos actually shutting down but also sad because we all drove out there. We gambled the shit out of the day, made platinum and it was a blast. Sucked to have to go home tho. But the kids were barfing on the way out there so we almost turned around.

Kids are home for like forever, except the baby's preschool is open still.. so that provides an out
