If quarantined for two weeks that should be enough time to finish The Irishman

A couple of years ago I bought the complete television series Las Vegas with James Caan, et al. It's been a fun diversion until we get back to some normalcy. Keep the faith :usa:

I’m a fan of that show too. I’ve asked Santa for a machete for two years and he still hasn’t come through. I liked the episode when they ate the iguana that ate the skunk. Or was it the other way around.

Yeah, some of those machetes were works of art. I'd like one of those that were designed after the Kukri.

And iguana and skunk? I saw those episodes and I was thinking to myself: man, how hungry are you REALLY? LOL! Easy for me to say since I've never went naked and afraid, and being cold, dehydrated and hungry for 21 days.

But still, lol! Love that show!

True story: A couple of days ago Hubby and I working in a small bathroom. I am on floor, he is off to the side behind me. Unbeknownst to both of us, I hit the bidet lever. Well can't believe it took is as long as it did while rather yelling wtf is happening as we are just aghast watching it streaming all over his belly and running down his pants. LOL I still laugh. A photo to see how is it swivels and can happen. Even so a still recommend as I have one with a knob I do not like near as much. You will love it!!!

We're pondering a trip to NC/GA for some autumn hiking, so we're practicing - carrying a load - in the local state parks. I don't know if they're gonna close or not, but when you're miles out in the scrub, you don't stand the risk of running against other earthlings. What we're not doing, is hitting the gym, so it's all hikin' or bikin'.

We are working our way through the Karma Sutra one day at a time. May need to increase the diet.

I’ve been on and off with research and floorplan designs for a new house. After the last few weeks though, we have decided to step back and assess a new build - it’s tough finding land in our area. So we’ve been doing some little projects around the house that have been “we’ll get to it” type of stuff and discussing changes if we decide to stay.

I’ve also been training and teaching the kids how to play and deal certain casino games. Only need a financial partner to have the “house money” covered. If the casinos stay shut down too long it might be time for some competition. Any takers? :wiggle:

When I went to Japan a few years ago (my first Japan trip) I had my first experience with a bidet. I was curious so I stood behind the toilet and turned on the bidet. I wanted to see how far the stream would go. Yeah, yeah, ended up with water in my face and down my front. Didn't know the stream was that strong but guess it has to be to clean you after number 2, lol. But I kind of enjoyed the clean feeling when using the thing.

Rats, the City is now closing all their golf courses and parks. Stupid, instead of people staying apart from each other at the parks and golf courses they now go to Sam's club or Costco or the malls where they are now closer to each other. I went to Sam's this morning just to see the line. There were probably 200 people standing in line just waiting to get in (I went home). Hard to practice the 6 foot rule when everyone is standing in line.

I have to call the private courses to see if they are still open, at least I hope to get 1 round a week since the gyms are closed. I guess I can fix up my bike so I can start biking again. Or worst case would be for me to walk up and down my condo to get exercise (I live on the 25th floor so guess I could work up a good sweat walking up).

BTW, if anyone is interested, animal planet is showing a "too cute" marathon so if you're into puppies and kittens then this might amuse you. It's been going on for the past 2 days. I'm surprised I didn't know there were so many episodes of the show.

Sure I do but it looks like my forearm is getting bigger, lol.

Just kidding, I haven't had any time to watch porn, so far I've been busy trying to get my tax returns together, get my mom's returns together and still trying to change the title to my mom's properties (meeting online with the lawyer doing this). So actually the closures might be good for me as I have no excuse for not getting my taxes and stuff done.

I'm just trying to stay on top of this place. I also haven't started my taxes yet, nor have I cleaned all the 2019 files out of the file cabinet. I have a mountain of decluttering to do. So yeah, situation normal. :)

The only thing different is my life is that a couple of my regular doctor things are cancelled and Dan is at home 7 days a week, instead of 4-5.

I’m still heading into work, and my staff was furloughed so don’t have the free time I was expecting just yet.

Traveling is pretty much the only thing that helps my wife and I make it through the work week (we spent 45 nights in hotels last year). The thought of possibly months without an escape has made me real nervous. I’m trying to come up with some novel ideas to deal with this and right now landed on getting some food/drink from one of our favorite destinations and going back through photos/videos from our trip(s) there. If my first attempt is a success, maybe we “go somewhere” every weekend.

That idea led me to create this thread for Vegas specific suggestions in case I go with that.

My workplace has been having daily conference calls so that the managers can still feel like they’re in control. I got half the board covered in just one of the calls.

I traumatized a few more bushes today. I want this one big rhodie taken out, but DH doesn't want to. I continue to chop on it and it's looking really, really sad. By the time I finish, it might be so ugly we have to take it out. Ahhhh…..

I don't watch TV until I'm completely done for the day. Sometimes I watch Law & Order. I like the Jerry Orbach ones best. I enjoy doctor shows too. The Incredible Dr Pol, Dr Pimple Popper, Dr Nowzaradan (600 lb life)...you know, educational stuff. I also watch the Hoarder shows. They make me feel like I keep a really clean house.

I'm working toward my goal of 4 million LPs on myvegas. I'm at 3,672,970.

I'm restricting teevee too. I have a minimal cable package but I don't turn it on until Forensic Files comes on at 6. So morbid!

Before all of this, I was working towards getting back to a million in LPs before my August trip. Looks like I made it!
