I'd love to hear updates on smaller live music venues, like the hard rock cafe's morning music jams, etc. Hubs love these. I love slots, so lighter crowds are fine for me, but live music is big for him, so if these go on hold we'd wait to go until BOTH of us have our favorite things!

I’m thinking about going this weekend to rack up some tier credits and wondering how busy it is considering what’s going on.

Was playing craps off strip this AM before heading to airport. Not very crowded. Casino workers mentioned MGM Grand occupancy yesteday was under 10%!!! Caesar's Palace was under 10%, too!! Casino workers complaining that they're asked to go home due to the lack of shifts available due to minimal walk-in traffic,

On the flip side, I see room rates for this weekend on par with what I remember in 9/11. $99 for CP on a fri or sat night.. wow.. Bargains galore. I guess I dont have to pay $499 a night at the Orleans..

Happy gambling folks.. lotsa folks leaving McCarran, hardly anyone coming in, and this was about lunch time.

It's going to be interesting to watch Matt Bridger's Vlogs this week.

I'm often skeptical of what bartenders and other casino workers say, since they aren't necessarily able to get real numbers.

Meanwhile, I'm staying home and applying consistent doses of internal disinfectant, AKA, bourbon.

I just arrived. Airport was pretty normal for 3:30 on Friday. Regular amount of people waiting for Ubers. Flight from Chicago was about 90% full.

Rio was noticeably emptier today, maybe 30% of normal. Fiesta Rancho was at less than 1/2 a normal friday.
Wednesday in Silverton was very empty but they are usually heavy Asian and there is no travel. Same at the Palms today, less than half empty. Santa fe has been a little lighter too.
I cant speak for the Strip. The places I mentioned are our regular routines.

Agreed. Be careful with rumors. That is nowhere near the numbers I've seen reported.

Not Vegas, but got an update from Foxwoods (thread is here). Basically, beyond shows being cancelled and buffet closed, gaming is going to be electronic machines only, with some limited tables available (I think?). No poker, keno, racebook, bingo. Be interesting to see if any similar restrictions coming to Vegas.

Been here for about 18 hours now. Last night was noticeably slower than usual both downtown and on the strip.

Things are picking up a bit now. Just walked / trammed back from Park MGM to Bally's and there are more people everywhere. Digesting for a bit before heading down to the casino.

I think I'm going to go last weekend of March. Most CET properties comped. Try and earn a few more badges before that ends.

    Thank you everyone for reporting!

Assuming all goes well, I’ll be there this upcoming week. The majority of my stay will be at Cosmo, and if anything gets funky, I’ll just hole myself up in my suite. Better accommodations than my 1-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, that’s for sure! (& this rain!)

A few of my local casinos have sent emails about precautions (extra sanitation, buffers closing to minimize excessive gathering, etc) as well, but I expect it. It’s normal to have precautions and extra measures during these times.

@smartone - kinda makes sense if there’s no sports on though, yeah? I’ve never seen it empty like that!

I appreciate this thread since I'm reading it to see how busy Vegas will be next week. Since there are no sports to bet on, I'm not surprised at the empty sports book pictures. My flight leave Monday night at 7PM. What I've gathered so far is I may have an open middle seat on Southwest out of Houston and will be able to play any slot or video poker machine I choose. I'm really going to be curious what St Patricks Day will be like on Fremont Street. I do plan to ride the bus to downtown. No, I'm not 22 and bullet proof. I'm in my 70's with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. But I do exercise and feel great. I'll take my chances and have some fun.

    Gotta win this trip.
