So, decided to cancel my March 21-22 stay because of coronavirus concerns. Emailed Wynn to ask if they would wave the 25% penalty. Haven’t heard back—only sent the email this morning. What say my fellow Wynn app players? Should they refund? Will they?

I’ve spent a lot of real money recently that has either already been lost or is in danger of being lost due to the world health crisis.

Others have been laid off work and have real fears about their ability to buy food or pay their rent.

The real unfortunate amongst us find themselves Ill and/or hospitalised.

I’d say losing a few gems (whilst unfortunate) pales into insignificance.

    Worth a try though!

    Stay well.

I believe someone in the Wynn Slots group got a full refund. I think you have a good chance because of your dates.

Should they? Yes, it's obvious. Will they? It's Wynn slots.

I mean, I am very likely going to be in the same boat for an april trip.

No decision for some time yet, but I am more likely to cancel than not.

And first, no I don't think they'll waive the 25%

Even if they do, who cares? By the time the pandemic has passed, it will cost hundreds to hit a tier where you can use those gems again.

If I end up cancelling the trip, the Wynn rewards are basically lost. At least I got a couple nights and a buffet in November

Good news. Woke up to the refund I asked for. And, Zeg, yes, I get it. Sorry to have sounded so cavalier and wrapped up in my own stupid little world.

No apology needed. Quite natural. You got a result! Well done!
