Cancelled our plans......flying thru Vancouver is kind of one of many epi-centres.

Bought a Travel Trailer with the money saved and intend to see the Yukon and Alaska this summer!

    Cheers

I’m still going, but will take some wipes with me... NEVER thought I’d say that... and wipe the machines I play. I’ll also wash my hands more often and TRY to quit touching my face (I’ve noticed I do that a LOT).

Just a note: Do not trust a casino's "business as usual appearance".
On Oct 1, 2017, when the shooting at the Harvest Festival next to Tropicana was taking place, all of the casinos tried to keep things going normal as possible. After running from the Tropicana I ducked into Bellagio thinking I'd be safe and the casino was running normally keeping up a 'business as usual appearance'...until a panic wave ran through the casino and everybody ran to the emergency exits and the casino emptied out. Stuck on Flamingo Road I then walked to the Gold Coast where they, too, were letting the casino run as 'business as usual'. Meanwhile, at a casino down the street the largest mass shooting in US history was going on. They don't stop gaming until a problem is put so in their face they have no choice.

I'm not in a super high-risk group, but I'm not 25 either. If I had a trip scheduled between now and the end of April (I don't), I'd cancel it now and be done with it. 6 hour flight, etc., etc.

I'm scheduled for early July. If the US Active Cases curve isn't going down by the middle of June, it's probably gonna be a no-go.

Well I booked a flight for April 11 from Amsterdam. Don't think that's gonna happen anymore :(

Still doubtful if the 30 day EU ban is counted from the announcement, in that case I'm fine it's day 31 then.

Or if it's effective from the moment the ban starts. Then I'm not fine it's day 28/29 then.

Still waiting for news from KLM about my flight.

Am I still going even if allowed? That's another question. In Europe we are a couple of weeks ahead of the US with the virus it seems. So it probably peaks here in 2-3 weeks. And in the US 2 weeks later. Exactly the moment when i visit Vegas. So not sure yet.

Pretty confusing UK residents are allowed and NL residents not. In other words banning all EU residents except the UK won't have any effect on spreading the virus in the US. The infected people numbers in the US are also not realistic because of shortage on testingkits. The ban seems like a panic reaction to satisfy the people/voters.

For me, it's too soon to tell. Me and my sister are scheduled to go Memorial weekend. It's too much of an unknown now. Hell, next week is an unknown.

I just scheduled a trip for June. I only scheduled it because American Airlines will allow flight changes with no cost to fares purchased in March. If things aren't better by June I will reschedule for the Fall.

If you are referring to a NASCAR race, they just announced no fans at races,so you can probably get a refund (depending on when the race is scheduled)

Edit: Looks like just for Atlanta and Miami right now

I just booked airline tickets for June at a great price, leaving from Blade Show in Atlanta. Just flew back from Park City last week, we wiped everything down and sat down and watched movies.

Thanks @Basil , but we're coming for the drag races. So far their event is going on as scheduled this weekend in Florida. I know it's a fluid situation and subject to change.

Oops! Spoke to soon. In the time It took to post this it looks like the NHRA has postponed this weeks event in Florida.

Almost certainly canceling my April 8-14 trip but not by choice. I’m not afraid of travel or the virus, but my plan was to play some poker tourneys at Venetian in addition to cash poker and VP/craps. I feel fairly certain the Venetian will cancel their event and besides that, cash games aren’t very juicy without heavy tourist presence. I’ll probably kick the can down the road a few months.

I work from home, so the only time I really leave the house is for gym/hospital which is a bonus.

If it is like an apocalypse come the summer, I'll cancel. I've had MS for >10 years, but other than that I'm quite healthy.

Seeing my Neurologist next week for my annual review. Will ask him what he advises, and take his advice. As long as it involves going to Vegas :D

We are going in April. If they shutdown LOVE, we might change our plans.

My ex just texted me. She said a wedding that she was planning on attending late March in Vegas was cancelled because of the virus fears. So she is cancelling her trip also. I have a trip booked for May with a buddy. Ran into him last nt and as of right now we are still going

My official Vegas trip isn't until October/November. I normally don't make reservation this far in advance, so I'm currently in "wait and see" mode. My other non-Vegas trips are currently on hold, since I'm having some dental work done and I might have to get a dental implant, if the doc can't save my tooth.

Was booked for march madness. Struggling to imagine I'll be going.

The piece that is really stopping me is I live ~1,500 miles from Vegas, and if there are any material domestic travel disruptions, I could be stuck.

I was going in late may but have canceled, I think all the casino's will shut down in the next week or two. Once the cases really start popping up, among not just tourists, but locals and workers, they'll have no choice.

Still scheduled to go May 4-7, that is if LightFair isnt cancelled. I have been to my local quite a bit (MGM Nat Harbor) in the last 2 weeks, brought my own clorox wipes, washed hands a lot, kept my distance from folks at the roulette tables. I have noticed that it hasnt been as busy.
