March 2020 Roll Call

Rescinding my roll call; will be looking for dates when this passes over. I risk being put on 14 days unpaid leave/quarantine by my hospital if I choose to go. I am very disappointed, but I know in my heart its the right thing; all of you stay safe and keep washing your hands.

 

Im out as europeans are prohibited for the next 30 days

 

I had to cancel as well. I have health issues that make me more at risk and couldn’t justify going anymore. Also from Canada and can’t risk getting stuck there. Very sad. Some of the friends I was going with I hadn’t seen in a year. :

 

Must admit, a little nervous, hope we sack up and make it,
I imagine scare factor will increase and we may skip a few months after.
Find me at MSS craps table 2-5am, hand sanitizing and asking for new dice.

I actually wasn't planning on going until next year, but I was able to find flight and 3 nights at Bally's for almost half of what the flight out of Chicago usually costs so now I'm way behind on my normal planning.

 

@stormins I’m at Bally’s too starting tomorrow night.

 

Alas, we decided to cancel.

Just cancelled the trip for the 23rd.
Need to go post in the April/May thread now.

 

Cancelled my March and April trips last week. What I heard then was a enough for me to make that decision. Everything we have heard since then, even in the past 24 hours, confirms it was the right call. Focus on booking for a future trip while airfares are good to great. Once everyone gets the same idea, fares may go up for holiday weekends (e.g., Memorial Day, July 4th, etc. etc.)
