Air Fare Not So Bad Now

I was wondering what the price to fly was going for now. What do you think about the attached?

 

Here from Michigan to Vegas it hit or miss ... of course flying via spirit air is always reasonable usually couple hundreds - we usually fly delta and it can cost $350 -$500 depends on timing. We are flying out tomorrow and paid $335 per and I thought it was steal considering buying just couple of weeks ago. Just for fun I decided to look at the flight tomorrow (using same schedule) and it only came out like $395 per basic using delta wow!!! Normally it would be $1000 for next day travel!

 

recently the nonstop going to Vegas came down to $129 which is the lowest it goes when they have a sales price, weirdly the trip coming back went up $30...I tried to rebook the flight going there to get the roughly $23 future credit and it wont let me, southwest says if its still at that price and I want it, I have to cal them.

 

$335. roundtrip is good.

 

If anyone is interested, flying to/from Hawaii, prices are very good right now. For now through May, many flights are in the $300 range for a r/t flight from cities like vegas and the west coast cities. You need to watch the HA web site as the prices fluctuate during the day. Sometimes the prices are in the $400 range but a few hours later they drop down to the $300 range. But I would expect the prices to go back up as the seats start filling up.

 

It's looking good to Hawaii. The water is cold here.

 

I mean you can hold out for $99 each way if you want, but the price you show is about as low as you can ever expect.

 

As of Wednesday afternoon, if you went Blue Basic the price is 152.80 round trip.

 

Paid $205 in December for our trip April 25th - May 1st on American from Charlotte NC. Exact same flights now $91.30

seriously though prices were cut here too to Vegas, I’ve seen as low as $64 round trip.

 

Frontier doesn't seem to be lowering prices yet!

 

Just booked my June trip from CLT for $91 roundtrip. Yep it's basic economy but I can deal for under $100.

 

Cripes! How low can they go?

"Did you hear airlines are dropping rates?"

"Not Frontier! They still charge $89!"

 

I booked a round trip on Frontier yesterday to depart this Friday for $305, it included my carry on bag fee. I looked at Southwest before I booked, it was going to be over $1000 for such short notice.

 

Just tried to log in to Jet Blue and it stalls. Everyone must be booking a flight. time:8:40pm EST Wed I included a sample flight.

 

95% of my travel is on Southwest.

I have a flight on United I am attemptingto take advantage of the free change waiver. The website is trying to charge a change fee and the 800-number is saying a 90 minute wait. ARGH!!!

Yep, we had an e-blast from Alaska Air that even had some sub-$300.

 

Yeah, I thought about travelling to SEA because of the low prices but since I'm diabetic I figured it might not be a good idea.
