Wynn Slots Level 3 can only book 2 consecutive nights now!

I thought it was odd that a high-end resort was using an app that will attract primarily those who want to get something for nothing. Binion's and 4 Queens, that makes sense to me. Wynn, never did. And it looks like Wynn found that it didn't attract a lot of loyal high rollers with the app. I have the app, I have since the early days, but I never touch it. I just need to delete it and accept I'll never put in the time to earn a comp from it. And today's doom and gloom announcement from those who do use it is the motivation I need to finally do it.

What does "consecutive nights" mean? Can you book two nights, leave for a night, and then book two more?

 

Wow, I was spinning some when the game forced the update. This is total crap now. Pay $200 to get level 3 and then you can only book 2 nights. So basically, get a ton of gems, pay the $200 and then get your two nights and free buffets and go elsewhere. They have been saying for some time now they will be adding other stuff, but they should have done that before screwing things up so bad, especially now that people are cancelling trips left and right.

 

I guess they figured they had already pissed off enough players the last go round we might as well do it again.... Given that the thread I had started has went recently well with no one going off the deep end; I did get to the answer that I had originally asked. Many people are indeed walking away. There is still opportunity for the die hards and perhaps they will stick it out, but I look at this game as a place to score some buffets now.

 

Even the buffets require level one and it's hard to get 2500 crowns without paying cash.

 

I will be gutted if the airline cancels our flights, as to rebook on the app I would have to pay to get up to level 5 now. That ain't happening.

 

I feel bad for those that spent money to get to level 3 just to have them screw over the customer base over for the third time in 3 months. Not surprised, but still feel bad.

 

The Caesars Rewards app is just a loyalty and hotel app like the MGM Resorts app.

The Caesars-linked games from Playtika have 1RC per dollar spent in game, with occasional 2-3 RC promos, but no rewards of any consequence.

Consecutive means in a row. Since very few people playing the game have checked out since the update this morning, nobody really knows if this simply means contiguous nights in a single reservation, or if they are blocking followup reservations made the night before booking. Some folks in the FB group are planning to try to find out.

Pretty much impossible, not counting special event bonuses. But considering the play level a lot of people have talked about, it's easy to get there with $5-10 worth of spend and "typical" fan play.

I know a couple of people will be shocked, but at this point I don't really think it's worth any new players getting into the game unless they really like the individual slots and enjoy playing. And I expect a lot of people will simply drain their gems (or abandon them) at this point.

 

Yikes, this, well, sucks, and I've been the one defending the app to this point.

Assuming I earn zero crowns, what does it cost me to buy up to level 3, level 4, level 5.

As of now, sure.

But you cant make 2 bookings at once. And you'd better have a backup plan because the rules could change any time up to when you can book that second stay.

 

Sure am glad I booked my 4 consecutive nights before all this crap came down. Now just need 700 more gems to get two buffets and then this app is getting deleted. Also glad this update came out before I bought the 100x multiplier + piggy bank for $100. Now I’ll just break my piggy bank for $5.

 

Not sure when you're planning to go but MGM suspended all buffets in their properties and removed the reward option from My Vegas. It's probably only a matter of time until Wynn does the same.

 

Yeah I saw that as well. I'm not going until May so it may or may not be available.

 

I just bought my way to VIP 3 within the last couple of days. Was going to book 3 nights and was hoping for a gem rate to drop. Today's update made me book my 2 nights right away before any other changes come. This next trip will probably be my last hurrah. Was fun while it lasted.

 

Actually feels good to not have to open the app every few hours to collect the coins...

 

Personally I would have demanded an immediate refund. You buy and then they change the game almost immediately on you so that your "buy" is only worth half what it was the day before.

 

I've already redeemed before. "They" don't owe me anything. I'm happy with what I got and what I just redeemed for. Onto the next game.
