If you were gonna stay 4 nights in a suite on the strip that you had to pay for (no comp), which hotel and suite/room type would you pick?

Wynn Fairway Villa, MGM Skylofts. I don't think the Mansions at MGM are bookable

What do you most enjoy about the hotel room experience? Maybe that will narrow it down? I don’t book elaborate suites, but I’ve been in them as guest of others.

I don't see anywhere that I'd pay for in Las Vegas. If you told me I'd have to pay for accommodations, I wouldn't go.

I'm thinking about doing the City Suite at DTG when I'm out in June.

On the strip I would probably just book the cheapest one I could find at a property I enjoy if I had to pay. I would just want an area separate from the bedroom that I could sit and wind down in with a big dip of Grizzly before I head to bed. Haha I would probably splurge $30-40 a night for a separate dipping area with a TV for the nights and mornings.

Aria SkySuites. Hands down one of the best times we have had in Vegas and would love to do it again. Maybe with the beer virus going around we will get a shot soon.

Full suite at Bellagio, with fountain view.

Any suite at Cosmo - they have the balcony.

Caesars is nice, but nothing special in my mind.

Cosmo - love the terraces. Definitely depends on the season though.

Agreed, but the reason between a getting a front end comp and playing for a comp is:

1)the less outlay of cash upfront
2)The chance that I could come out ahead on the trip

Also, all I do in a room is sleep, so the luxury of a suite is wasted on me. Now, if an FGF said "I'd really love to spend a night (or two) in xxxx suite, and I'd even do yyyyy", that's another story.

I'd spend on the Skylofts at MGM or even Skyline Terrace. I'd also do the same for Wraparounds at Cosmo. I would also consider Lenai or Villas at Mirage.

Cosmo Aria or Vdara. I would probably choose a suite with a balcony at Cosmo overlooking the fountains

Have stayed in and paid for that I believe is worth the splurge:
    - Masquerade suite at Rio (Strip View). Best room I have ever had anywhere. Absolutely unbelievable, despite showing some age.
    - Penthouse one bedroom suite at Mirage. Showing a bit of age as well, but beautifully laid out, good features, and felt more like a "suite" than "just a big room".

Would pay for out of my pocket on a future stay with my current means if the occasion was right:
    - Masquerade suite at Rio again for sure.
    - Fountain view terrace suite at Cosmo. I'd love to kick back on that terrace and watch the fountains all afternoon.
    - Cypress Suite at the Bellagio. Admittedly, this is a suite I'd want to enjoy with "company", not solo. But if I ever take a Vegas trip with an SO, this will be #1 on my list.
    - Luxor tower one bedroom suite. These suites seem to be great value for the money to book outright. I'd definitely pay for one.
    - Something at the Venetian. I don't know these rooms all too well, but I quite like the layout and the style, and I do know these rooms can be had somewhat inexpensively at the right times.
    - Executive Suite at Aliante. Mostly for the bedroom.
    - Large balcony room at Embassy Suites Las Vegas Convention Center. Mostly for the terrace.

Would "go all out" and pay for out of pocket for a one-time special occasion like bachelor party or honeymoon
    - Lanai at Mirage
    - Forum Tower Duplex Suite at Caesars Palace
    - Jackie Gaughan Suite at El Cortez

MGM Skylofts they are one of my favorites and can be booked by anyone.

The mansion is an out of this world experience but you can’t book those with out being invited the MGM.

Bellagio has the Villa but those are almost impossible to get i believe there is only 9 and reserved for known big players.

Aria Sky Villas would be the choice for me.

I stay in the sky suites regularly and pay for my room, so that would not be a splurge.

The Skylofts offers a good overall experience but those rooms are really showing their age and you're still in the MGM Grand, which I don't like.

A penthouse at Cosmo would be another option, but I, personally, like Aria better than Cosmo, which is why I would choose a Sky Villa.

Off the strip technically but I still count it as on strip because of bridge (albeit a long bridge).
Signature MGM - Walking distance to Miracle Mile Shops, Connects to MGM, Affordable Suites, Large Jet Tubs, Kitchenette.

This represent me when I use to pay for my rooms but now I take whatever best is comped. Suite life but thrifty.

Straight strip room I would pick a Caesars Palace Palace Studio suite.

I’ve stayed comped in Cosmo wraparound and Aria Skysuites multiple times. Not sure I’d pay rack rates.

Tower and Penthouse suites at Mirage (stayed once years ago) are huge and probably the best value for money today in a real suite on the strip. Remember these were designed when Mirage was built to be the best hotel in town. I’d probably choose this if I knew I had to pay out of pocket.

A Wynn Fairway Villa would probably be my splurge option, they are generally available and bookable by anyone at high but not extortionate prices.

The Aria Sky Villas, Bellagio Villas, or Mansion look even better, but they aren’t realistically accessible to me, even on a splurge.

There's just something special about Sky Suites. I can't say what it is. Must be something they pump in the air. From the entrance, check-in, staff, rooms restaurants, casino, etc.
So the Sky Villa would be awesome.

I can't even imagine the Mansion at MGM Grand but like others have said, it's still at the MGM Grand. Granted, if you're staying there you're gambling in private. But that's not Vegas for me. I think Vegas for high rollers like that don't go to Vegas for "Vegas." I dunno. I might just be talking nonsense.
But the Mansion seems too separated.

The Chairman at Bellagio would be sick too.
