Car rental overnight parking

We plan on renting a car when we're in Vegas for two days to go to the grand canyon and zion national park. If we need to park the car overnight, and we're staying at mirage, is it possible to park in the TI parking garage for free even though we aren't staying there?

 

When I've parked for free at the Venetian there were no machines or anything that required a room key or slip to show you were staying there.

 

I haven't done this in a year, but if nothing has changed, yes. And TI's parking garage is so easy to access and Mirage is right there.

If I'm gold with mlife, how would I take advantage of the free parking at mirage?

 

If you use self-parking, just swipe your card when leaving. If you use valet which is also free, give them your card when you pick up your car.

 

Where is the mirage parking garage? I can't picture it from memory and don't see it on a map.

Is that accessed from the strip?

 

There's a light on the strip at the north end of the property (between Mirage and TI). Turn in there and follow the signs. Self park you stay on the right lane at first and then turn left in the parking garage. I think valet you stay in the left lane (but not sure).

 

If you're on the 15/to the west, use Spring Mountain -- or the crosser off Sammy Davis/Industrial -- and come in behind TI, across from Fashion Show, then there's no need to use the Strip.
