Yup! Did it a few weeks ago. You can only do it once this calendar year, I believe. All you need is your player’s card and to show a valid boarding pass within 24 hours of your flight arrival. $25 match play and food comps at the restaurant.
My sister and I did it mid February. It was 5 days after arriving in Las Vegas because we stayed on strip before moving downtown. They never mentioned anything about having to be within 24hrs of arrival to us so probably any reasonable amount of time after arrival would.
I did it three days ago. Single deck blackjack. My $25 + $25 match play bet lost but I still broke even for the short session.
I saw this El Cortez ad in SWA magazine 3 weeks ago. It also has $25 match play. Wondering if that’s 1 chip, paper, multiple chips, etc. anyone know?
Yep. $10 slot play, $25 match play and comp drink ticket. They couldn't find my airline on their system so picked a random one in order to issue me the vouchers.
Went Saturday night. Free drink, $10 free play, and $25 matchp We won both match plays and turned the free play into $50 cash. They said it's any airline.
We are flying in to Los Angeles and driving from there. Anyone know if it is just McCarren or will any airport do?
Airport doesn’t matter. Airlines do if you’re doing the same promotion at The D or Golden Gate. They have different airline specifications (Spirit or Southwest for The D and Allegiant for GG. El Cortez will accept any airline).
They load the offer on your card at the slot club desk. You then go to the kiosk and print out a voucher for a free drink, print out a $25 matchplay voucher and choose a card for the free play. So it's ONE $25 MP. I hope this answers your questions.
I'm interested to know about your drive. This option would save us a bit in October. I hate driving and the OH doesn't like it much either, but for $200 I will do it if it's not too dreadful.
$200 each or total? Is that after factoring in the cost of the rental car? I am usually the first one to go the frugal route but if neither of you like to drive, I would probably just pony up the extra money. A long drive after a long flight sucks. Just my 2 cents.
Yes, El Cortez still does the deal, but you go to the desk then they write down your info and enter stuff in a computer and you then go to one of their computer terminals and do a pick one game. I got $10 match play two weeks back when I went. (Southwest boarding pass)
