Hmmmm I forgot to post this last night....

My husband told me two nights ago to play craps. He said $400 on a $10 table max odds, I lost $300 tonight at linq but wasn’t ready to stop so I called him. I pulled out another $300, cashed out with $440 and had a great time! Time to get ready for a night out

No pics except this random guy. I took a pic of him and his buddies and he wanted a selfie

Ok after that we went back downtown to troy lounge ( Golden Nugget) and danced for hours!

After that we went to mc donalds at the plaza. Probably got back and went to bed at 4ish.

Carpet cleaning happens around that time on Sundays fyi

Yes, it's been their policy for probably about 5 years now. I guess they think because if you use a card you won't be a drink scammer? Idk. You might have to use it at Park MGM too since they use the point counter as a poor man's metering system (10 points needed after the first drink).

MLife goes by trip theo, so using your card shouldn't affect offers. Assuming you've played on it the rest of the trip anyway.

Sounds very limited, imo. Pizza Rock must be "White Beard's" side gig.

I agree. We had a group of 19 and were put in the private room over close to the bathrooms. I’m not sure if the waitress was setting herself up incase she didn’t make it back more than that or what but it was pretty odd rule to tell us. She ended up giving us 4 or 5 refills in a period of 1.5hrs

    Some pics I haven’t posted:
Troy lounge balcony had a great view of the tattoo parlor next door

This guy came up to me when I was playing craps. He was super drunk, left his massive black bag next to me saying he lost $500 and had to go find it. Then he ended up at the next craps table (trying to win back the missing $500??), bag still next to me. Craps dealer noticed all of this and called security. Security pulled him aside

Always sad to leave but I’ll be back!!

I had a great trip and my friend had a drama free bachelorette. That’s really hard with such a large group!

Gambling didn’t go as well as planned but I had a ton of fun taking some of the group to sigma derby ($20 In quarters for hours of fun and several rounds of drinks). Most of them that was their only gambling of the trip. I also had a lot of fun playing craps. I don’t normally go to the table without my husband but maybe I will more!

New items for me on this trip:

Neon museum - can’t wait to go back at night!

Yardbird - I loved the deviled eggs and chicken biscuit

the Still at Mirage - bogo coupons made our drinks cheap. Those lobster tacos were reallyy good

Eataly- good food option for a group

Peppermill lounge - wish we actually got to eat more than the appetizers but the wait was so long

Marque Dayclub - lots of fun (wasn’t too crowded this early in the season) and a good deal considering we had an hour of free drinks

Mirage dolphins - id go for free again! There was a young teenage girl who was interacting with the dolphins in the underground glass area. You could tell she went there a lot and loved sharing her knowledge. They were “playing” with her and made for those great pictures.

Mirage - my first Mlife hotel. I liked the restaurant choices and wish I could have gotten to the pool. However, my room had seen better days and the housekeeping issue yesterday was irritating to me.

I sadly didn’t make it to Milos. It’s been so long since I’ve been there! I thought I was going to make it on Friday for their happy hour at the bar (I did ask at the restaurant and they do have it 5-7pm) but I was so full from my lunch at Julian Serrano

if you have any questions, let me know!

@Vegas Erica I know the Mirage VP bar has a "reputation". Maybe that's their way of (unsuccessfully) deterring hookers?

I had no idea they had that reputation, I don’t play there much.

But it’s funny you said that! One of the girls ate at the Mirage sushi place alone and the bartender told her only escorts sit at the bar alone. She’s very pretty and said she wasn’t but if someone asked she already knew her fee... her law school loan

I've been required to insert a player's card at all MLife property bars to get a comped drink (okay, only been at 3, but Mirage Sports Bar, Bellagio Sports Bar, and Aria I don't know what the name of it is but it was kind of close to the poker room Bar). Thought this was corporate policy, not specific to the bar.

I also thought this was required at the Chandelier Bar and at whatever the bar in Venetian is called (outside the poker room).

Sounds like you had a great time.

Is 1.5 hours the typical wait?
We have the Peppermill on our short list but not if its typically a 90 minute wait.

@LV_Bound I think there is usually a wait. But it seems like 90min may be on the high end. We had a group of 8 and it was Saturday
