That is a genuine concern. Stations comes to mind.

Congratulations on your big RAT WIN!
Something tells me, though, that they may be available at the gift shop and/or Players Club, much like the “valuable Prize” after a tournament last year. 61141B22-799A-43AB-AB4F-416A74A42AA0.jpeg

Actually, the prior years New Year figures are, more than not, available at the Players Club, paid with points. So, I'd expect this year's to join the selection. At least 4 other prior year figures were available in early February, and there were prior year figures there on every visit I've made in the past 3 years.

To me though, for any of the gifts for points, they are fully priced, meaning you could take your points in cash back and buy the same quality items, for that price or less, elsewhere. Those towels, for example, are 200 points, which means they cost $5 in cash back! For a single kitchen towel? Of course, for some of these items, they aren't sold anywhere else, so you have little choice.

It WAS a mess, for a while, yesterday. I personally was able to play through it by staying at the same bar top. By the time I was ready to cash out at around 3:30 PM, TITOs were working and the rest of the machines were turned back on. The reason a forum is useful is that conditions can be posted as it was happening.

Surprisingly the vibe is not bad. The word most players are using is "frustrating".

Yesterday morning when the machines went haywire, we wondered over to The D and they were having trouble too. All progressives at the Vue bar were down so we played downstairs. The machines at the Long bar where working intermitently. So it's just not 4Q's. We ended up at Fremont and things seemed fine.

Points at 4Q's were not accumulating last night at the machines but we were told points were still being tallied and would be rewarded when the system is back up.

4Q's restaurants have a lot of costumers who use comps, room charges and credit cards. They didn't have many costumers. When I checked in at Chicago Brewing around noon last week, they were empty. So some employees lost money. Hugo's emptied out quickly last night. They thought that they couldn't accept room charges even though they could. I double checked with CB to make sure that nothing had changed and went back to Hugo's. The lady finally checked and was very apologetic. It must have been a pretty frustrating week for her.

The machine TITO issues were a big problem when they hit. If you were the guy that just cashed out your mini jackpot with the intention of sliding another twenty in, you'd probably get pretty frustrated with your wait. I heard a couple people talking about an hour plus. A story was going around about an hour wait for a .53c TITO. I was playing a JOB machine with a bad deal button. I had noticed slot attendants doing hand pays so I just played through my hundred. The waits become significantly shorter after the initial surge, because people leave as they get paid, and machines were getting shut down. A couple hours later hardly anyone was playing floor machines, but table games were as usual and bar tops were still occupied.. Monday evening saw a lot more people,

Chicago Brewing was fun as usual. You just had to establish if your preferred form of payment was being accepted that hour.

I wonder if 4Q would do something for out of town players like me who was counting on getting March FP but wasn't able to get it last weekend and won't be back rest of the month.

Our bar tender called the players desk when she heard us discussing this issue yesterday. It was mentioned to her that the FP might roll over to your next offer. I'd call a host who could establish your stay there during this episode. As I mentioned, for those still in Vegas, your FP is either loaded or able to be manually inputted.

I am assuming that there is no redemption of crowns at 4 Queens or hats at Binions right now? We are planning on being downtown on Thursday and I have been saving up hats and crowns for about a year now. Would be my luck to not be able to use them later this week.

Has anyone gotten any concrete information about the root cause yet?

I just want a concrete, written in stone...absolutely 100% positive answer that they still have room reservations in their system? And even better if you can tell me if a comped room stays a comped room, like can they see what your rate is? I have a couple days there in a few weeks and while I wasn't worried, I get more worried the longer this mess goes on.

Don't they email confirmations the day you make them?

I travel with printed confirmations, as well as the original emails saved in a travel file.

We also were at the "D" Vue Bar and also noticed numerous machines going off-line randomly. Would last 5 minutes are so then would work again. No one at the bar knew what was going on or could get any type answer from technical folks. I was concerned that what ever had happened to 4-Queens/Binion's was now starting at The "D". The floor video poker progressives at Golden Gate were also affected periodically.

Yeah but the problem here is I trust you guy's a lot more than I trust one of their employee's on the phone!

Hi Grant. I talked to a member who checked in Saturday and I personally checked in Sunday. They had our reservations and our rooms were still comped. I'm pretty sure that the not accepting bookings was a credit card deal as third parties could still book for them. A front desk person pretty much said the same thing. There were a shit load of problems that came up, but they knew which room was assigned to me and that it was comped.

Hi Jake. I don't know anything about hats or crowns. If it is a Player's club thing, then 4Q's still had one computer up when I checked out at 1:00. So they could do what they do, just slowly. I don't know if Binion's had a computer up or not. Their progress seemed to lag behind 4Q's.

I lost some points overnight and talked to a host about it. He said that they recognize that some people were inconvenienced. He didn't say what they planned to do about it, but apparently they want to do something. Sounds like they brought specialists in, and I'll call in a few days to see how much they think I played. You might have the same issues.
