I'm tempted to lose my Mirage virginity in the summer, as I can get a 4night comped penthouse stay.

    Vegas Vacation haha
Only con is Wayne Newton might try to steal your lady.
For me Mirage rates as follows:
Location 7/10 (Mid strip is 10/10 such as Bellagio, Bally’s)
Pool 9/10 (love the scale and tropical theme)
Rooms 7.5/10 (Based off standard room being 400 sq ft and fairly modern still)
Casino 8.5/10 (love the huge fish tank at check in l, tropical theme, variety of games)

Solid resort. Always book my siblings and parents into Mirage because it’s their current new favorite.

edit: lowered pool rating from 10/10 to 9/10 because MGM and Mandalay Bay pool complex sets the bar in grandiosity.

I will say, I love the pillows on the beds at the Mirage! No other resort comes close, and I've stayed at nearly all of them on the Strip. They are just soo comfy. I like the gaming floor, even if the slot selection is no longer my favorite, and the pool is awesome.

It's Aria for us. We just feel at home there more than anywhere else. Although we like Wynn and stay there once in awhile when we get free rooms, we'll always pick Aria over any other property.

Tough one.....Wynncore or V/P. Be that as it may our last trip at Aria was glorious, but the slots were cold.

After this trip it is MB. I've stayed at all the low level properties. PH, Ballys, Excal, Luxor, Strat, Park, and now MB. MB has a TON of restaurants to choose from, is absolutely huge and everyone has been so friendly. Additionally, a $50 trick worked amazingly well for me where tips haven't worked in the past. This morning before checkout I walked inside from MB to Luxor, then to Excal and never left the comfort of climate controlled space. When I wanted to hop on the bus I went outside and walked across the street and since you are one of the first stops, finding a seat is no issue.

The first time I went to Vegas, I stayed in Excal - it was right after it first opened, so it was the cool place to be at the time. I remember watching them building Luxor out of our room window. I've stayed everywhere since then, and some places are really nicer, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Excal, not just from sentiment, but because it seems to have everything: decent rooms, moderate prices, lots of big buffets and eating, a enormous variety of shows, a big casino, etc. There's always something to do at Excal, and if you get bored you've got Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NYNY and MGM right next door. Later, if you're so inclined, you can hike or bus down the strip and hit Wynncore, Paris, Venetian/Palazzo, Ceasar's, etc. So for me, Excal it is.

Just booked this one, which looks the same as the 'Mirage Suite' in size, but I'm guessing on diff floor.

I might have the same 3 nights comped at Wynn, in which case I'll save myself the aggro of packing/unpacking.

Looks like a great room, albeit much bigger than I need, lol..

I know, it looks really nice. I find the Wynn/Aria rooms the perfect size, but might as well try a penthouse.

Not often someone playing $1-2 a spin on slots is going to get one, lol. Looks to be plenty of room for navigating it in my scooter anyway :D

Phew it’s hard so many hotels on strip but i have to go with Aria(sky suite) always have been my home based - also like Caesars, MB (hotel only), Bellagio, mirage (location only) but I believe aria sky suite has it all; “newer”, service and restaurants.

I have always said NYNY is my favorite. I have stayed at Mirage my last two trips though, due to my conference being hosted there. I really enjoyed Mirage. I would be tempted to say Mirage is my favorite, but I wonder how much of that is due to recent trips making it very familiar to me. I keep thinking my next trip is at Mirage, even though it is at MGM Grand. Even though my conference is at Venetian, which I can't afford to stay at, I'm staying at MGM instead of Mirage for a couple of reasons. One, the cost. My offers for MGM were better. Two, I wind up spending most of my time in the evenings down by MGM or NYNY anyway. But yeah, Mirage is a pretty good place to stay.

    Expensive, Cosmo. Cheap, Luxor.

Cosmo has probably my favorite dining lineup, since you can eat for $10 or $500, and it's all good.

Luxor has easy access to Mandalay Bay and the staff has always treated me well.

Cosmo has amazing rooms, but Luxor is clean and cheap.

That's the same as the one bedroom suite (Mirage suite is one larger room, with two large bathrooms, one bed suite is two rooms including the dining table and bar, plus a very large bathroom with separate toilet room. The one bedroom is definitely the better room). Looks almost the same as the room I had earlier this week (pics in my latest TR), which was C55, except slightly different decor. It was a fantastic room, way more space than I ever needed. Also very quiet since the floors are entirely suites, so very few people actually navigating the hallways. In 5 days there, I think I passed someone in my hallway once.

For us the nicest and best is Wynn, we can’t win there so we don’t stay there as often as we used to.

Favorite is Mirage because it feels homey and comfortable, plus I win there. (not sure I’d stay though if we had to give up a suite, the bathroom is way too small in the standard rooms).

Next favorite is Cosmo for the terrace and the food.

Yeah, same room. I think the penthouses must just be the top 2 floors. I had to cancel that, as I needed a room on 17th-20th for the Fury fight, and changed to Mandalay Bay.
