On our most recent trip we walked over 29 miles in 4 days.
I gained about 2 pounds in water weight. No Alcohol!
I did notice how dehydrated the back of my hands looked.
    Seems to always happen.

Our Vegas rescue lotion-keeps your hands ready to grab more food and drink. For severe cases, put some on at night and wear cotton gloves for thirty minutes or so.

Seriously, I thought you were talking kidney stones.o_O I learned something today!

By the way, I could benefit by losing at least 2 stones. As far as losing weight in Vegas, no dice. I usually gain. This because of eating all the great food and just STANDING around the craps tables all day.....

I tend to hover about the same weight mostly from the booze calories. I don't eat a lot on vacation. I'll do a light breakfast or none at all and a dinner usually. If I eat too much I feel like crap especially with alcohol and I don't want to sit in the room all day waiting for the food to pass through. Plus with all of the walking I do between casinos it helps keep me from gaining weight.

First trip my pants fell down while I was putting a bag in the overhead bin on the plane home. My husband was behind me, he's like you want me to grab the pants or the bag? I said pants, so he held my pants up while I finished putting the bag in the bin. Never had that happen before or since.

I typically lose 3-5 lbs on a Vegas trip. I am not sure how much of that is water weight, because it usually comes back shortly after I get home. But yes on the walking. I was once wandering back to my hotel at 3am and hit my 10,000 step goal on the FitBit. I think that was the first time I got my steps for the next day before bed. :)

18-23,000 steps is not unusual on a Vegas day. At home, I'm lucky to reach my 10K goal a couple times a week, especially in the wetter/colder months.

Yep. I usually lose a couple. We usually end up only eating twice a day in Vegas because we are too busy for lunch. All that walking doesn't hurt either.
