So i like collecting CET special cards. Like year of the rat, pride, Vegas Knights, or raiders. But lately i started using my diamond card at the tables (BJ and craps). I noticed a significant increase in my tier score for my usual play.

Do you think it's possible the bit poss saw the diamond card and assumed a higher average bet for me? If so i think i'll be using my diamond card from here on out.

BJ is likely automatically tracked, but it's possible for craps.

How would BJ be automatically tracked? I'm pretty sure its still based on what the pit boss enters. If there is some electronic mechanism tracking every bet you make in BJ that's news to me.

Horseshoe Hammond has that for Pai Gow Poker. The dealer scans the card into a reader at the table.

They scan cards into the reader in LV too. But that just covers your time of play - dealers don't enter the average bets, the pit bosses do that. Both things are necessary for ADT.

To the original poster - how do you go about getting the "special cards"? Is there a certain time when they have them or do you just ask for them at the CR desk?

There are auto tables where you have a live dealer but bet electronically, which would have perfect tracking (caesars windsor has some or at least did for a $5 pit), but they are still pretty uncommon.

Absent those it is still pit boss dependent.

You just ask the rewards desk when you get your card printed. "Do you have any special cards?" Your local Caesars casino might even have one special to them. I have a "Funner, CA" card that is unique to Harrahs Socal. It's by far my favorite one.

Many casinos, including my local CET property track BJ bets electronically. I don't know if the chips are RFID or what. But my card is scanned, the dealer enters my spot or spots, and the bets are tracked electronically.

The pit boss never enters amounts and the dealers never enter a change based on my bet size, only what positions I'm playing. The freeplay chips don't have the same tracking ability.
