Quick question, and I apologize if it’s already been covered, but for the $600 CET Diamond Travel to Vegas do I have to pay for the flights myself and then get reimbursed in Free Play? Or can my host make the flight arrangements?

I make my own arrangements. You could do it through your host and it goes to Passport (Caesars travel agent) - there is a fee. If you do it yourself, keep the paperwork for the flight and cost and present it to the Rewards Desk where you're staying(Caesars property). They will issue you a voucher to pick-up your $600 Free Play at the cashier.

As @oghuman stated, you can book it yourself. I recommend always booking it yourself, even if your host volunteers to do it. Sometimes it make may take long for Passport Travel to do it, and what you submitted, the prices may have changed and you get stuck with it. It sucked back when you could only go through Passport Travel to do it. But now you're given the option to do it yourself. If you're decently knowledgeable with travel planning, can usually make out ahead with the travel credit.

Do you need to have a host code the Diamond Elite travel with your hotel reservation if you are just going to ask for reimbursement? In other words, do you need to have a host involved at all on this travel credit deal?

Interesting, there used to be a $15-$25 fee for each ticket you booked. Did you go over the $600? If not, it may have been covered/included with it?

Haven't used it yet this year. I'm just basing it off of previous experiences (7* for the last 8 years). I would assume so though. I've always just let my host know and she'll usually tell me to go to the casino cage and my FP would be waiting for me. There was always a sheet I had to sign, not the same one you sign for your monthly FP offers, but a sheet that would say "7*/diamond trip....".

Does anyone know what happens if you book through points? Do you still get reimbursed?

According to CR/TR T&C's, nope since you'd didn't pay for it in cash. That's what my host told me at least. There's ways to get around it though.

Flying over the gulf of mexico now, Im going to try and go to the desk today to get my $600 credit. Does anyone know if you can use it more than once?

Wish I would have realized it as I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago.

since nobody can assign a value - nope.

Use cash now, and save the points for later.

Avoid Passport Travel... they are slow to respond.

    To answer my own question

You can use the $600 flight credit as often as you want. Wish I would have known since I didn't use it last time I was here

The person at the caesars rewards booth told me that you could use the $600 flight credit on every trip to Vegas.

Let me see if I understand this correctly: if diamond elite, you can get air fare reimbursed in free play? Does anybody have a link?

You got a credit, a credit to what? As far as I know it's free play.
