hey guys. i'm going to stay at Paris casino but planning to play VP at Planet Hollywood casino and charge everything to my room and try to get some of the money back (hopefully everything back) if my play gonna be massive . when the host will look at my play would he say my play is at different casino so he can't comp stuff or it's doesn't matter for him since it's the same company ?

For me they have always factored across all properties. They have mentioned seeing my play at Flamingo, Harrahs, etc.

No. I do this frequently and never had an issue.

They look at the entire market. Oddly in Atlantic City, CET only looks at the individual property.

I don't think this is accurate. I'll be going back to AC for my birthday next week so I can confirm, however, the 20 or so times I've gone to AC I've never been told this is the case. I've played at Harrah's while staying at Caesars, and vice versa, but my back end comps have always seemed to encompass the play at both properties when I check out.

I never get backend comps because I don't need them because I have over 300K reward points. Backend comps might be geared for total play in AC, however, I disagree on what I get in up front in AC. In Vegas I get the same treatment at all casinos. By treatment I mean I get the same comps and Free Play across all properties. In AC, I get puny Free Play at Bally's and Harrah's, but because my play is 95% at Caesars I get more Free Play. I'm a 7* and at Bally's my FP is $5 at Harrah's about $25-$35. I always thought that FP should be an incentive to go there. However, in AC it's a reward for past play. Guess what, I keep my play at Caesars unless there is a specific comp that interests me. I stay away specifically because $5 doesn't get me one VP hand.

I’m not sure why you’re being argumentative. You said that AC doesn’t do backend comps whilst taking into consideration play at all properties but rather, only the one you’re staying at. I disagreed as I have indeed had this happen.

You’re 7 stars, that’s great, not relevant but good for you. I’m not, but I get backend comps so again, to just answer your first point, that’s not my experience. To categorically say something doesn’t happen without polling others is ridiculous. Not sure why this is such a big deal lol.

The point I was making about 7* was about giving $5 Free Play. Obviously, nothing wrong with polling others that's what the poster was doing. I did not say AC doesn't do back end comps, I said I don't. My point was my experience of the difference between Vegas and AC. I'm raising the white flag, no need to be at war.

My CET host in Vegas says all the action is treated as if it were the same casino

I don't think @oghuman was disagreeing with you @LB9. He did state "backend comps might be geared for total play in AC....". He's just providing his personal experience and extra info in regards to upfront comps, which IME I found to be the case also.

To summarize, in LV, play from all properties contribute to back-end comps and corporate offers. IME, at AC, play from all properties contribute to back-end comps also, but play from each property contributes and generates individual offers.

You can clearly see what I quoted, he said AC doesn't. Either way, ultimately I wanted to ensure OP knows that in multiple markets that CET does indeed include all properties on back end comp calculations. One of my favorite things about CET is that they do this, which MLIFE is notorious for not doing.

If CET didn't do this, I would probably go less as I stay at Ballys and play at Cromwell/PH for better rules and excitement in BJ. Also, the comp room value is less, so you have more room to get backend comps in addition to the room and other up front comps which I think provides value.

This is why I prefer CET over MLife as we like to traverse through multiple CET casinos throughout the day.
Then at night we tend to bounce between Ballys, Paris and PH.

Let me try to be more clear on what I meant about AC. The offers at CET properties in AC are driven by your individual play at each property. Each property has their own unique offers. While the senior Executive hosts have authority to get you perks at all three properties I have been told several times on sundays when my executive host is off by the host in duty that they will only look at my play at the property where I stayed to take care of back end.

However I have gotten a ton of comps without having them touch my RCs.

Due to the locations of the properties in ac it certainly gets annoying picking up perks all over town each day of a 3 day trip. I almost like the Vegas model of one larger perk to cover the entire trip which can be picked up at any of the three properties rather than feeling pressured to maintain certain play levels at each of their properties.

I thought mLife was the same, you could bounce around MGM casinos and all the play would cumulate in your offers
