As of this morning, according to a FB group I belong to. That's as high as I have ever seen one. I am sure others have seen bigger numbers.

    I'd guess sportsbook.

And I have seen one quarter progressive bigger. On my gf's 30th bday at luxor. I couldn't get on the bank. I played it 40 hours earlier when it was ~$2660 and lost.

Guy with the blurred out face hit it.

Is the Sportsbook bar a viable answer? I don't know the Plaza that well.

years ago it was quite common to see big progressive's like this, not so much anymore. There are a couple banks in the Excaliber that often get in the mid to high 2000 range.

The way this happens is people short play the bank (ie less than 5 quarters) and hit the royal so the meter is not reset and keeps climbing. Once it hit's a big number than like Tring did, people start chasing the royal and it moves even higher quicker. The casino actually likes it when the meter is high like this as the bank is jammed and people play faster and alter from correct strategy to chase the royal (which they probably should when it's this high).

Adjusting strategy based on the meter state is playing correctly. [emoji16]

The meter rates as a whole have got lower and lower over the years. [emoji17]

The meter rate of the progressive royal I displayed was 0.9% when I checked it last. But I dunno if they changed the meter rate when Luxor downgraded the paytable about 4 years back.

I don't recall the bars having progressives. It might be short pay machines on the floor.

But the progressive is on DDB only, iirc.

Caesars-AC was a bit over $2,300 last year. I put in a $20 for the hell of it and hit it. 8/5 DDB but there were 2 really cute guys sitting there playing and I thought it would be nice to sit next to them and share some camaraderie.

It's been hit. <insert disappointment here> From some reports it was hit just sometime after hitting over $4500! Lucky Dawg!
