Can you imagine that VMB craps gathering?

A table full of players all sporting turtlenecks, blazers, and VMB wristbands.

My Dad got these VHS tapes back in the mid 80s. I sat and watched with him when I was about 12 or 13. He would then go off to Reno for a weekend and come back and tell me -how he did. This was done by pulling out wads of 100s. Still remember thinking he was so rich. When I saw this post I immediately thought of my Dad, and what a degenerate gambler he created in me.

All joking aside, I love to gamble and learned from an early age thanks to my Dad. Next time I am home, I will dig these up and watch again, if I can only find a VCR.

Seeing John Patrick in this thread reminded me of all the John Gollehon books. Who remembers him? I have about five of them, all in the uber-small softcover size. I never purchased any of Patrick's books but I liked Gollehon's books, he was a big proponent of money management and staying away from all the center bets.

I really miss the days when book stores were chock full of casino gambling books, especially table games, since Moneymaker won the WSOP all they seem to have are poker books.

I have one John Gollehon book. One of the FIRST books I purchased in an effort to learn casino table games!
