    My Trip Report

This trip is admittedly not going to be at all like my normal trips to Vegas. I wasn't going to post at all, but I realized how much I enjoy going over my old TRs to spark my own memory, so I'm going to forge ahead. This trip will be much less gambling focused than normal - I'm mostly going because my cousin and her two year old are in town for a few weeks and its easier to get to Vegas than the middle of nowhere Montana where they live. I'll be staying with family in Henderson for the week and sneaking out to play as my schedule allows.

I'm planning on hitting up downtown once to play off some FP at the D and Golden Gate, maybe getting to the strip one day to see the Bellagio conservatory, and otherwise I'll be hitting up local casinos in Henderson and Boulder Highway. I'm planning on taking advantage of some of the random promotions (kiosk games, multiplier days, gift giveaways) that are always going on at the locals joints and that I normally don't pay any attention to. I'll be doing this semi-live, so expect pictures randomly throughout the days of VP porn, slotting, and things I'm eating/drinking.

I'm at the airport now waiting for my flight - on Frontier (delayed, as always). Priority pass bought me a wine (or two) and I'm hoping to nap on the flight. My uncle flew out this morning and left his car in valet for me, so I'm going to try to sneak in a casino visit or two tonight depending on how I feel.

Landed in Paradise. Parked at Plaza and doing a quick hit and run of downtown.

Did a quick loop of downtown in about two hours. Walked away up $340. Had my first quad and first near miss. Now at relatives house raiding their fridge and headed towards bed.

7/5 JoB STP @eliza? How much did you drink tonight? :drunk:

And once again you're back in Vegas when I'm in St. Louis. :bang:

Good luck the rest of the way!

With the construction upstairs at the D, the VP pickings for using FP were quite slim.

And, of course, I’m out of town when you are in town. Lumiere Place now has a bank of 9/6 Jacks at the dollar level if you need to get your VP groove on while you are in town.

Lunch break at my favorite local.

7x points on VP 24/7, bartop blackout bingo, and free bingo game for players at 10 AM. Plus for this month they are paying a 25% bonus for heart Royal Flushes and 100 credit bonus for heart Straight Flushes. 9/6 Jacks progressive at bartop that resets to $1,200. Best local joint ever?

Played for an hour or so, ending up down $50. Hit two quad queens. Will be back, I’m sure.

Now at Jokers Wild for their play $100, get a kiosk spin.

Lost $15 on the worlds oldest VP machine (love it). Won 1,500 points on kiosk game.

I had to do it. Behold the $2.99 double cheeseburger and fries.

Food at Joker's Wild isn't bad. I had chips and a hot dog with my points before. It was a good sized hot dog and really hit the spot.

The burger was surprisingly good. The fries not so much - I think they need to change their fryer oil.

I have passed Joker's Wild a few times on the Boulder Express bus traveling from Downtown or Skyline to Lovelady Brewing in Henderson. There are not many good food options along the way. I will stop into Jack Berry's Joker's Wild for that special, looks very good and the price is great.

Skyline and The Vue Bar are the two primary places I consider playing VP these days, for the drinks (Vue Bar much better beer option) and the possibility of 100% + VP. Many positive situations have vanished over the past several months including Arizona Charlies and Stations pulling FPDW.
