Most of the rooms at Elara are two bedroom suites, so inventory will not be a problem. Also, they have great living spaces with wraparound couches and a dining table, which is helpful if you have a group or family setting. It also has its own pool area which I prefer to the Planet Hollywood pool. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned that there are three (and four) bedroom configurations. However, those go for $$$$.

Trump has a two-bedroom Penthouse suite and it’s gorgeous.

Marriott Grand Chateau is a block from the Strip and across the street from side door of Planet Ho. A non-casino place - which has its pluses and minuses. Beautiful place - and no whales to put holds on the rooms. Rooftop pool and bar is awesome.

We stayed in a Hospitality Suite at The Mirage and it was a nice two bedroom. Not fancy but was nice for our group of six, everyone had a bed to sleep in. It would sleep eight if you want to use the pull out sofa.

Even if they didn't return I've been getting some good out of the thread as this was something that pertains to our October trip. It was a good "review" for me as to make sure I was considering all of the possibilities too.

Elara is great. Excellent deal (Sun-thursday) And divide the cost between 2 or 3 people as someone can sleep in the living room on the couchbed. The only thing I didn't like was walking back and fourth just to get to PH for some quick gambling. Fully furnished kitchen is great too.

Don't know about the OP but like others, I've been following this thread. Was hoping to see a CET property named.

Staying in the Two Bed room at Mirage next week...I know they are on the top two floors, but does anyone have a recommendation of an actual room # with the "better" views? Thanks

I dunno but last I checked they had The Beatles Love ads covering the top floors so if you do have a south Strip view it's somewhat obscured by the ad sheets. Sorta ruins it in you're into the view aspect, IMO.

I think top 4 floors. Penthouse on the top 2. And yes the Love thing does mess up the view. I would ask for a pool view. That can also give you a good south strip view.

Bellagio has quite a few - 2BR Lakeview, 2BR Penthouses, and several more. Chairman's and Presidential are 2BR also, although I'm not sure what your budget is. For a less expensive option, several of Bellagio's room types are available with a connector. These are usually 2 queens but I think some are 1 king.

I'm noticing too that for my time period in question that a number of these suites are NOT showing any availability for the week I'm staying (October 26 - November 2 or 3). I think it's an ICOR (In Case Of Raiders) type situation - MGM is holding back top flight suite inventory until schedules are known. Checking other similarly rated periods outside of football season shows a number of these rooms, and having now done the "Vegas Room Research" party for same week on similar lead time booking (9-11 months in advance) have noticed this year's dates have a BUNCH of these larger suites showing not available.

I also am a bit nervous with booking certain "rare" suites through MGM/CET as they have a habit of "bumping", for high rollers, especially in a high demand time, which this could very well be (concerts plus potential Raiders games), In an ideal world I would book a Skyline Terrace Suite at MGM and then have anyone "over" the sleep space limit/reasonableness in Grand Kings. Don't see one, which is weird as they usually will have these this far out. Even Mirage has no large suites showing, and they have multiple floors of those things. So SOMETHING is different for my booking period, and so much of what is in the memory from prior years booking - and discussed here - is missing.

So I started out booking a Cosmo wraparound non ft view because I have a belief I will actually get that room (Aria Sky Suites as well as Nomad seem to be good in terms of being likely to not get bumped out too). I also booked a NoMad two queen salon double (700 sq ft) as another option.

I have a hunch that if the Raiders are not there on my weekend that this stuff gets rebooked. But if the Raiders DO play that week at home the rooms booked currently will be a relative bargain and will be the smartest move I could make.
