When was the last time someone stayed there and how are the rooms? One tower better than another? How are the restaurant choices?

Paradise Tower is better. The Club Tower is a hike from the casino; the Paradise Tower is much closer to the casino, and access to the strip, and newer. However, if you get a low floor in that tower the strip noise can be a little rough - like most strip hotels.

I got a tower room that was far away from the casino. The room was okay but it was a busy weekend. It was a little trek but honestly didn't mind it.

Tried the $20 trick but he only gave me a strip view and comp me a breakfast for 3. He gave me back the $20 but I gave it to him anyways.

    I stayed there May 2019.

The suites on the top two floors of tower away from the strip are nice. I don’t believe I’ve been turned down for one with the $20 trick. They are a true suite with two rooms. One room has a couch, TV, and wet bar, the other is the bedroom with connected bathroom. The walk is a ways from the casino but it's nothing compared to staying at Caesars's. Don't expect luxury though. It looks nice but it doesn't wow me. I brought an ex for her first Vegas trip and she thought it was great. I'll post pictures from my phone shortly.

The regular rooms are fine. Absolutely nothing special about them but they're clean and comfortable. I have a soft spot for the Trop since it was the first place to comp me rooms back when they didn't charge resort fees for comp room.

Seeing those pics reminds me of the Trop from about 20 years ago. Most of the furniture was rattan with some of it even wicker. There were also massive mirrors above the beds.
