Who knows this pathway I’m in between Borgata and Harrahs AC?

Some know it as the wasteland... The last time we walked through there we got caught in a downpour.

Never walked this path, but I have biked around this area. There’s a paved walkway along the left side of the photo with a couple short “piers” into the waterway labeled Clam Thorofare, but this is probably twice as long as the shortcut. 15 more weeks until Memorial Day.

The walk I take when I've already used my parking transfer between casinos and am too cheap to pay the $5 twice. :). Or when I want a nice breath of salty air.

I don't know that I've ever walked it in daylight though.

I normally make this walk if I'm parked at Harrah's and have been drinking. It's quicker than waiting for the jitney or ride share. Less than 1/2 a mile!

I have taken it, but you really gotta make sure it hasn't rained lately.

I had no idea, I thought it was not possible to walk from Harrah's to Borgata without crossing roads (which don't have zebra crossings). Interesting.

At the very top of the map is Harrah's Baywalk, a wooden boardwalk along Renaissance Point Blvd. I was riding my bike up there just after it rained, right where it narrows to about 4' wide there was green moss/mold, it was as slick as oil and I went down like a hog in a weed patch. Fortunately I wasn't going fast and the only injury was to my ego and I'm now wearing a helmet.

I knew you could walk, but for me, it always feels safer to drive or take the jitney.

Generally, yes, there's nothing on earth around there and it's a pretty straightforward path, but I probably wouldn't do it at night.

It is. In AC, the general rule is only walk on the boardwalk between casinos, and the marina between casinos. The areas in between look like a mixture of Detroit & Kuwait.

I would say no, especially if you are female and/or carrying a lot of cash. In general, AC has some bad elements outside of the casinos. I might be a little overcautious, but better safe than not. Walking during the day should be fine.

I call it The Walk of Shame - as in its a shame I lost all my money at Harrah's and can't afford the Jitney ride to Borgata

I wouldn't walk it alone at night myself, but maybe with a group. NOT with any cash. Then again I'd be leaving the Borg and I'd be flat broke anyway.
