Anyone played this. Do you earn comps/points? What are minimums etc.

It was $5 minimum. Here’s a pic from my trip report in November.

Doesnt seem like it would be much fun. I always felt craps was a social game.

I've played the one at the D. No comps. with playing it. $5 minimum needed to be made in bets before the dice roll will be enabled.
I recall an Interblock rep. mention that the button to start the roll is pressure sensitive, so the launch force on the dice can be varied.
This recent Youtube video on it.

Note that the hardways are hopping

Seems as though they could detect the hedge bettors. And still reward at least some points. I know CET issues slot points at very low rate for Bubble Craps, where Mlife gives you none. Just curious about the D.

Of course I agree with COusineddie live craps is much more fun because of the social aspect.

    Thanks whitefox for posting pix

I looked at them in person and they didn’t look like any fun. Five dollar minimum and no points. Possibly a good way to get a drink if the Sigma Derby chairs are all filled. Maybe a good way to test a betting strategy. I prefer a live table, but even the bubble craps produces an occasional high five.

When I was there, the guy in my picture was taking two machines and pounding the roll buttons with both his fists. You can imagine I didn’t stay long...

Some advantages of these machines as I see it:
-if you want to play alone like a slot machine
-if you want to go quicker than bubble craps or a live table (you can basically go as quick as you want)
-if you want to play the don’t without pissing off a table
-if you want to test a betting strategy (but I would just do that on a phone app)

The only reason I would play it over big bubble craps is for the speed. But I much prefer live tables over bubble craps, so probably won’t ever get into this style.

I confirmed this past weekend that the Interblock individual craps machines at the D do not give any points, but you definitely want to put your card in because they are insanely generous with earned comp dollars right now. For about 30 minutes of play where I was betting the don't and DC (putting up a new $5 or $10 bet on most rolls), I got $5 in earned comp dollars. I was shocked. That means the machine thinks I generated $100 in theo. The machine theo appears to be currently set too high.

    Don't walk; run.

Also... I was able to do something on this machine that I could not do either on a live table or on the big Aruze machine. A shooter with a don't pass bet usually has to leave that bet up. The way I like to play the dark side, I will pick up the don't pass if the point becomes 6 or 8 and I am not the shooter.

On the individual machine, the player is always the shooter. I discovered that if I had an additional DC bet travel behind a number, I then gained the ability to pick up the don't pass and still remain as the shooter -- simply because I still had at least one $5 bet up somewhere on the layout. Learning this made me adjust my playing strategy a bit to avoid losing so much on the don't pass.

I'm no don't expert cuz I don't don't, but I thought you could pick up don'ts on live tables once a point is established, because the HA has just vanished.
Also Pass and come are the only contact bets that cannot be taken down..

I'm sure I'll be well informed if that is incorrect. I could totally see it being a machine rule.

I also checked the single machines out around when @whitefox did, didn't care for it, dice were smaller than hanging rear view mirror fuzzy dice, and it was located at the pinch point of elevator and bathroom lines.. and also one was broke.

re-reading this, how can you not be the shooter if in the 1p game, there's no one else to shoot?

On a live table the shooter must have a pass or don't pass bet in order to shoot, That is why the shooter cannot pick up the bet. All other players can pick up Dont bets because after the point is established the player has the advantage, so the casino will gladly let you pick it up. Pass and Come bets are the only "contract bets".

On the individual crap machines you are always the shooter, I believe you can play(shoot) as long as you have $5 dollars total bets regardless of whether it is pass, dont pass, field or anything else that floats your boat.

Glad to hear you earn comps.

From what I understand, these individual bubble craps games are the "field test" for Interblock. With that being said, who knows how long they stay after the testing is complete.

I like them. I like them for different reasons than a live table. I like them for different reasons than the big bubble machine.

Whitefox listed some advantages above. Another advantage is that it is a great thing to teach someone on. You are not bothering anyone else and you can go as slow or fast in your lesson as you desire.

But the going fast alone really is a great advantage. More than once I've gone down in the morning to play the big bubble machine and be the only one on it. IT TAKES SO LONG waiting! Not so on these new ones.

No "dark" side on these machines. The Don't Pass / Don't Come are brighter than the Pass / Come.

Field pays triple on the 12, but does anybody still play the Big 6 / Big 8?

I wish all these Craps machines would go away.
Based on history, the writing on the wall is clear.......as the number of these Crap machines increases so does the odds the actual tables will be going away.

If you don’t earn points won’t that screw up your comps in the long run?
