Ceasars Octavio is king room vs aria king room. Same cost aria food credit. Where can that be used at ? Just aria?
In terms of Caesar's vs. Aria... I can only talk about Aria as I never stayed in Caesar's before. I will say that Aria is a nicer property especially since it's newer, but I've been told that Caesar's is quintessentially Vegas along with some of the Downtown casinos. So if you are looking for the old timey Vegas experience (and in no way am I disrespecting old timey vegas) I would say Caesar's might be your thing. If you are looking for a more opulence and luxury experience, I would go with Aria. Even more so if the cost of rooms are the same and Aria is giving you a food and beverage credit. At least that is my two-cents...
Regarding using food credit at Aria, Aria can sometimes be very finicky about where you use a food credit. Sometimes it is only to be used at Aria and sometimes only at specific places in Aria. Is this food credit part of a MLife offer or is it from a promo that offers food credit? Regarding rooms, we have stayed at both Aria and Caesars. Although at Caesars we had a room in the Augustus tower which I believe are similar to the rooms in Octavia's tower. I preferred the rooms at Aria. They seemed just a little more upscale than Caesars with the room technology if that matters to you. Both places are very nice though.
Food credit is thru package with united airlines so I’m not sure most important to us is quiet when in room and comfortable bed. Past has been Cosmo. Vdara pallazzo. And encore beds. All were good but the first time vdara it was worn out.
I have stayed at both places, and it really depends on where you want to pay, and/or where you want to eat. At Caesars, If I can't stay in the Augustus Tower, I won't stay there. Aria, it doesn't matter to me, since I'm not "suite" eligible and I know the "ins and outs" of getting to the room from the north valet. For food (of course, you can "dine" anywhere, but if you are a "camper" Buffet - CP Steakhouse - have not eaten at a Steakhouse at Aria, but Old Homestead is a good, solid choice Asian - haven't eaten Asian at Aria, but they are opening a Din Tai Fung at Aria in the near future. CP has two "solid" Asian restaurants in Mr. Chow's and Beijing Noodle No. 9 As a matter of fact, the only restaurants I've eaten at at Aria are Jose Serrano's for Tapas (three times), each time a solid lunch, and Herringbone. Herringbone was unremarkable, almost forgettable. At CP I've eaten at NOBU (didn't like the Peruvian/Japanese fusion), Cafe Americano (a good, solid breakfast), Old Homestead (16 oz. bone-in filet), Rao's (solid Italian dining), Beijing Noodle No. 9 and Mr. Chows (both solid Chinese dining, the first more for Chinese people, and the second for occidentals) Just my .02
Lemongrass and Blossom are both very good. Lemongrass I do every trip, and opening until 2am is a bonus.
I think Caesar's has better dining, shopping (even with Crystal shops), pool, and entertainment options. Aria has the nicer ambiance in terms of decor and the pool is okay (by comparison). I also find that the action in the center tables at Caesar's to be more fun and lively. I'd pick Caesar's to be honest. I think Aria, while nice, is rather vanilla. I'd rather stay at Wynn if I'm paying their prices.
I do like Aria as a place to stay. It's not all that exciting, but the rooms are consistent and Corner Suites can be a great value. They have some great dining options. I really like Javier's and 550 pizza. The Aria cafe is really sub par. I can't say whether the credit can be used at other properties, but be aware that the timeframe for using the credit is different than the check in/check out time. If it's a daily credit, always use it before you go to bed, since they process purchases overnight. You won't get to use the credit on the morning of check out. Let's just say that was a $50 mistake on my part.
I've never tried Aria cafe when I stay at Aria. My understanding is that it's overpriced for mediocre breakfast. But the good news is that they're shutting down that space and building a Din Tai Fung there. If you're not sure what Din Tai Fung is, it's a chain restaurant from Taiwan that specializes in Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). Love Javier's for lunch... 550 pizza is good, but I prefer Secret Pizza
Overall, Aria is a better resort, much more modern. Both have good higher end dining. Aria with food credit would be my choice here, but in general I would take a room at CP Augustus over a standard room at Aria...I have never liked the standard rooms at Aria.
I have stayed both places...and I will pick aria hands down ...but I do stay at aria skysuite which makes it even more pure awesomeness but overall their regular king bedroom should be just good. Regards with their resort credit I would definitely check w aria where you can use it. I believe there’s two resort credit system where you can use it any mgm property’s or within aria only.
Imo aria is cold boring place the rooms are nice and so is the hotel but it’s just so boring. Also it’s on the end of the strip almost so you’ll need to do some walking. CP has that Vegas feel rooms can be dated depending on which tower you get but the pool is 100x better so is the shopping and dinning options. Aria is better for gambling to me but that’s just me
Aria for me, mainly because Caesars feels way too busy. Because of their location everyone tends to walk through to take a look. I have not stayed at Caesars, but Aria's rooms are pretty decent. I also love being right next to ParkMGM, as it's more lively and has a younger crowd without being too full
