    Bonus Bonus Tip:
If you come down the VOF Highway from I-15, make sure you stop and wave at Cousin Eddie! He’s a short drive past the market.

I did this loop. I took I15 south from Vegas and paid the $10 to visit VOF. Then at the end of the road, (by Elephant Rock) I exited the park and turned right onto 167 and looped along the lake to Henderson. There was an empty booth near the exit of VOF, but I don't recall seeing another. You might need the Lake Mead pass if you are spending any time at any of the boat launches or campgrounds, but I didn't stop at any of those for any length of time that someone asked me for the pass.

It's been my experience that those booths are not staffed all of the time.

I've seen that here at times in the National Parks.

It's $10 entrance fee per vehicle and well worth it. To my recollection, the toll is on the route that goes towards Lake Mead. Set your GPS to avoid tolls and you will see the route everyone else normally takes.
